Friendly , clean and a safe.quiet hotel in a lovely area.

Loved it loved loved it.Our stay at this lovely hotel was made so pleasant with it being so close to the railways stations. It is in a pretty crescent that is clean and quiet. Check in was so easy and they stored our bags for us.Our room on the ground floor was spotlessly clean a very comfortable bed, room to hang your clothes. A hairdryer and a safe. Plus tea and a coffee maker. These things are very unusual in hotels now so it was a pleasant surprise to find them.Every member of the staff is smiling, helpful and efficient. Breakfast down a short flight of stairs is fresh , hot and plentiful. With lots of choice .We slept well ready to explore the surrounding area knowing that we can return to a safe clean hotel.Thank you to all the staff. We can't wait to return. MArk O'Brien, General Manager at Judd Hotel, responded to this review Dear Patricia H,Thank you so much for sharing such a warm and enthusiastic review — it truly means a lot to us.Your kind words about our location, the quiet crescent, and the convenience of being close to the railway stations are wonderful to hear. We’re delighted that check‑in was smooth and that storing your bags helped make your arrival easier. It’s great to know that your ground‑floor room felt spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. We’re especially pleased that the little touches — the safe, hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities — added to your stay and came as a pleasant surprise.Hearing that every member of our team made you feel welcomed and supported is incredibly rewarding. We’ll be sure to share your compliments with them. And we’re glad you enjoyed the breakfast selection and found it fresh, hot, and plentiful. Most of all, we’re happy you felt safe, rested, and ready to explore — that’s exactly the experience we want every guest to have.Thank you again for your lovely words. We can’t wait to welcome you back on your next visit.

Terrible beds and not business friendly

    rating25 Mar 2026

Good location but the hotel is tired and the beds are very uncomfortable with terrible linen (very odd smell) Also annoying that I was there for a business meeting and no iron was available. Reception staff were lovely though MArk O'Brien, General Manager at Judd Hotel, responded to this review Dear Mr. David P,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I’m pleased to hear that our location suited your needs and that our reception team made a positive impression, I’m truly sorry that other aspects of your stay fell short.Your comments about the condition of the room, the comfort of the bed, and the linen are concerning, and we’re already reviewing this with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure it’s addressed promptly. The unusual smell you mentioned is certainly not the standard we aim to deliver. I’m also sorry that an iron wasn’t available when you needed one, especially during a business trip when these details matter. We’re looking into how we can improve the availability of essential amenities so this doesn’t happen again. We really appreciate your honesty — it helps us improve — and we hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity to provide a much better experience next time.

    Don’t book

    rating13 Mar 2026

Are you kidding? This is a closet with a tiny bed. Super disappointing. MArk O'Brien, General Manager at Judd Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and I’m really sorry to hear how disappointing the room felt. Feeling like you’ve been given a “closet with a tiny bed” is absolutely not the experience we want anyone to have, and your frustration is completely understandable. Some of our rooms are indeed very compact due to the building’s historic layout, but that doesn’t make it any less frustrating when it doesn’t meet expectations. Your feedback helps us address this and make sure guests are better matched with the right room type.

    Love this place.

2nd stay here. Can't fault this London hotel which is good value. Perfectly situated between Kings X St Pancras and Euston the calm professionalism of the staff and cleanliness of this small hotel made a short busy stay enjoyable. On checking in late evening I found the high ceiling room couldn't heat up quick enough however a quick call to reception IMMEDIATELY sorted the matter. Tea and TV is a must for me -box ticked. The En-suite shower with Arran shower products was lovely and clean with fluffy white towels. The bed had enough decent pillows and an excellent mattress. I've stayed at Premier Inn and while adequate, their much advertised Silentnight beds do not compare to the comfy ones at The Judd. In fact I went to the trouble of finding who made the mattresses only to discover the manufacturer does not sell to the public. Still, I had no trouble falling asleep and after a super all inclusive breakfast I was rested and ready to face the day plus dreary London weather. I won't say which room it was ...as I want it all to myself. Love this place. MArk O'Brien, General Manager at Judd Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest,Dear Collette C,Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed feedback. It’s a pleasure to welcome you back, and we’re delighted to hear that your second stay was just as enjoyable. Our team truly appreciates your kind words about their calm professionalism and the cleanliness of the hotel. We’re glad the heating issue was quickly resolved for you and that the room amenities—from the tea and TV to the Arran toiletries and fluffy towels—helped make your stay comfortable. It’s especially rewarding to hear how much you enjoyed the mattress and had such a restful night’s sleep. Your comparison to other hotels is very kind, and we’re thrilled that our beds made such a positive impression. It’s wonderful to know that breakfast set you up well for the day, even with the classic London weather outside. And your secret about the room made us smile—we’re happy you found a favourite spot.Thank you again for your loyalty and your lovely review. We look forward to welcoming you back for your third stay whenever your travels bring you to London.
