The hotel is located in the heart of Victorian Kensington, one of the finest areas of London, and is minutes from Earls Court, Knightsbridge the renowned Natural History, Science and Victoria and Albert Museums, as well as the exclusive shopping street, Kensington High Street. The beautiful Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens where Kensington Palace is located are within walking distance of the hotel, as is Portobello Road and its famous market. Victoria railway and coach station is about 4.8 km away and Earls Court Underground station is some 500 m away. London Heathrow Airport is about 22 km away, London City Airport is roughly 23 km away, London Gatwick Airport is some 48 km away and London Stansted Airport is approximately 68 km away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1880. The hotel has 7 single rooms and 21 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a baggage storage service and a safe ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. Rooms

Individually adjustable heating ensures that rooms maintain just the right temperature. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a plug adapter, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels.     Lovely small hotel. Had a comfortable single room with nice bathroom. Good Continental breakfast. Helpful staff. Short walk from Earls Court Tube station. Quiet side street. Lots of restaurants around the area.

    Lovely quiet hotel in good central Kensington location . Tube strike while we were there but good selection of nurses available . Attentive staff and fresh continental breakfast . Comfortable bed and updated en-suite shower with white company toiletries . Would stay again .     From our very early morning arrival till check out the staff were kind, patient and beyond helpful. The hotel is spotless. I even looked for some dirt. Wifi fast. Included breakfast was delicious. Coffee availability in room nice. Highly recommend.     Tiny Room but Cozy

    Staff was friendly and helpful. Shout out to Miracle. I had a single room and it was tiny. It was comfortable though. The bathroom was up to date. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to Earls Court Station. It’s near shops and restaurants. It’s also very quiet. Overall, would recommend.     Good room, poor service, misleading booking conditions

    Almost all was perfect. Except the breakfast. I booked a 3 nights stay with breakfast included for 2 adults. When we got to the hotel, they advise us that only part of the breakfast was included and if we would want to eat eggs, for example, we needed to pay an extra fee (5£ for 2 eggs!!!) Continental Breakfast is not including any freshly cooked items, if you have booked a room with English Breakfast included then we will freshly cooked your English Breakfast. Otherwise, our a la carte menu have different selection include eggs of your choice. I am glad to know that you have been informed and explained again upon check-in. We are charging a very reason price for our organic farm egg, unfortunately, our cost is very high and we have to apply charges accordingly. Hope you understand. Thank youBest wishesMandy
