  Three Hooks & a Toilet

  This is a very comfortable hotel 5 minutes from a train or bus that takes you all over London. No frills, though; rooms are small with no drawers or closets for clothing. Just 3 hooks in a wall. But it suited our needs just fine because they DO provide a comfortable bed and small bathroom and a roof over our heads, which is all we really required. Busy lobby, serving an ample breakfast in the AM and cocktails out of a can (🙄) in the evening.

  This has been my third visit to this hotel whilst hosting and holding a event in WestfieldThe team remembered me from last time (over 6months ago)I travel and stay in a lot of different hotels along with how close this is to train station and Westfield, the style and unique and quirkiness and every little detail is a such a experience.A special mention too India who recognised me from my last visit before Christmas and Ishaaq tooboth 5* service thank you and what brilliant team members, first class service all the way.

  Great for Westfield Stratford or ABBA Voyage

  As other guests have stated, this is ideally placed for both Westfield Stratford or Abba Voyage, the former a 5 minute walk, the latter either a 20 minute walk, or one stop on the DLR. Check in at the bar which doubles as reception. I found all staff friendly and courteous. I did have concerns about the noise, based on other reviews however I had room 308 which was on an inner quadrant, which was exceptionally quiet. Nice to see decaff tea being provided in the rooms too. Given the UK was experiencing a heatwave at the time of my stay, the air con system was perfect - it kept the room a cool 19 degrees throughout and I could barely hear it operating. Breakfast was a busy affair, but, there is plenty of seating and masses of choice. I saw the cooked food being topped up regularly. The bacon and sausages were also actually cooked well (as opposed to looking like they'd just been shown the grill - and who wants a pink floppy sausage, bacon that has the consistency of a flip flop?!). Added bonus was being able to extend check out time (I assume this is subject to demand) at 10 pounds per hour up to a max of four hours. I was delighted when I was given the first hour as complimentary - not expected, but welcomed all the same. I'd have no issues staying here again as long as I had a room on the inner side.

  Well worth the money ( which isn’t expensive by Londons standards )

  This hotel is in a perfect location sited next to Europe’s largest urban shopping centre, the hotel is chic and busy with a lovely bar/restaurant area. The staff are extremely attentive and it’s very good value for money. We did have a couple of issues that the receptionist has dealt with swiftly and professionally and I would certainly recommend this hotel. If you’re going to the ABBA voyage experience, then this hotel is perfectly located and suited for all.

  Great staff but don’t go in hot weather…

  We decided to extend our stay in London and as we’ve stayed at this hotel before we thought it would be a great place to just get a good night sleep so we were ready for the day ahead. We weren’t looking for much from the hotel but we did expect there to be air con, and it seemed on arrival that there was but the temperate in the room was 26°c when we arrived and didn’t go below 25.5°c while we were there. I called reception and they explained it’s not really air con and it’s a set temperature for the whole hotel and we can control the fan speed but the air being blown out won’t be any colder than it is. We did get 2 fans from them to use for the night and an ice bucket for our drinks, and the staff really were lovely and we thanked them so much for what they gave us as it was better than nothing but for such a modern hotel and £££ for it, you’d expect there to be a decent air conditioner in the room! So I would stay again but never ever again in hot weather as it was so uncomfortable, we had to sleep with the window open as it was too hot not to but then we had a lot of noise from construction and traffic outside so we didn’t get a great sleep.
