  Would not recommend unless you’re looking to party. I was in the 3 person female dorm and the room was tiny and had a triple bunk. 2 of the 3 security lockers were very clearly broken in our room and staff didn’t mention it. Lockers are also very small. Only one bathroom on the floor so there’s usually a line. The light in the bathroom is also on a motion sensor and turns off every 15 seconds while you’re in there. Showers are dirty and one of them you push to turn it on to “save water”, so you have to push it every minute or so during your shower to turn it back on. You are not allowed to smoke anywhere in the hostel but our room overwhelmingly smelled like vape smoke and I could smell weed in the hallways so it didn’t seem like that rule was taken very seriously. Also not the fault of the hostel but I wouldn’t say I felt overly safe walking home at night (around 10pm) as a solo female.

  Excellent place to stay in London. Staff go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcome and included. Perfect for solo travellers wanting to meet people!Shootout to Jazzy for a great small world connection (and being super helpful)

  Life changing experience! Considering the place, everything is spotless and it is cleaned daily. the heaters always work and there is always free hot coffee and a meal waiting for you. It is the perfect location and within a walking distance to the center. There are tours both during the day and in the night arranged for free by the staff for everyone which is amazing. There is someone at the front desk literally any time you need them. Now about the people...it's the first time i've been in the same room with so many wonderful ones. The name couldn't be more suitable, "Onefam" is actually one big lovely family. Elize is the mom that makes sure everyone is alright and feels well. Georgia is the cool fun aunt that takes you out partying, Squid is the quiet and gentle uncle that cares for everyone. Hector and Felix are the naughty cousins that you are always having fun with, Bor is the brother that's always there for you! The staff may change through the year but i know the spirit will stay the same. I am sure my trip to London would not have been complete without staying at this hostel! You gotta come here!

  Theft from staff and guests, water also didn’t work and no electricity.

  My drinks have been stolen by both staff and guests on both occasions I’ve stayed here. You are required to put your name, date of check out, and room number on items to prevent theft. If those aren’t on it you can take it. The staff moved my drink to their fridge and other guests have drank my full bottle of vodka 2 times with my name on it. I had an employee ask to check the cameras to get reimbursed by the guests and staff who stole my items but they said no. The employee said, and I quote, “they said they don’t really care”. The first time I stayed the water was broken on the upper floors and floor had no electricity. The WiFi here also doesn’t work and the staff are rude to guests. When I asked if I could have private time in my room and asked politely if people could refrain from coming in (not that they can’t come In) the staff made a snarky remark in the group chat saying that everyone is allowed to enter their rooms. I never said they didn’t and the message was to explain that I was on a recorded video call so if you don’t want to be recorded do not come in. Overall awful experience and the only reason I come back is because the location is in a good spot and I’ve made friends here.
