Bash was absolutely outstanding from the moment we arrived. He was warm, professional, welcoming, and genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. Nothing was too much trouble, and he handled everything with a smile and real attention to detail.A great hotel experience often starts at reception, and Bash set the tone perfectly. He is a credit to the hotel and one of the best receptionists I’ve dealt with. Excellent service — thank you, Bash!

    Not Delux at all

    rating21 May 2026

Booked this Hotel for a birthday celebration, the add said Delux room, to be honest it was not a Delux at all, positive was the bed , really comfortable and lovely bedding etc, that’s it really , the staff are extremely helpful and polite as well! But that should be the norm! Our shower tray filled up and flooded the bathroom 🫣 the shower head was sending water from the seams of the shower head, I lifted the drain plug in the tray and found a massive ball of hair and gunk, obviously the problem! Told the guy and he used our towel to clean it out, The toilet struggled at times to take away the waste, five chain pulls as it were, the water looked like it was struggling to go down!Turned the tap on to fill the kettle obviously using the cold water and it was actually warm water coming out the cold tap, no idea how that happened and was only once but asked the Mrs to also check! And yes it was warm, had a shave ran the water in the sink, within 1 minute the water had gone! Plug was useless..The wood work looked old and rotten , especially on the door frame to the bathroom, plenty of silicone has been used so obviously an ongoing issue..We won’t be back to this hotel unfortunately , which is a shame, we found it to be ideally situated for what we needed, Have to end on a positive note! The Breakfast is brilliant!

Expensive due to location a real tourist needing a room rip off - as a Londoner I was disappointed

    rating31 Mar 2026

We booked two rooms and were initially pleased when the single was upgraded to be opposite the double – that’s where the positives ended, given what we paid.We were put over the road in building 156, in the basement, and both rooms felt like caves: below ground level, with obscured glass and then double‑glazed units on top. Any chance of natural light was completely ruined by ugly machinery (boiler?) and/or huge bits of old furniture dumped right outside the windows, so you’re essentially paying central London prices to sit in the dark. Heating was another joke: one room was freezing, the other uncomfortably warm, and it felt like pot luck whether you’d be shivering or sweating. To be fair, the hot water was genuinely excellent – a properly hot bath and a powerful shower – but that’s the bare minimum at this price point, not a luxury. The Marylebone location is great, and yes, the traffic noise is expected in central London, but that doesn’t excuse a window that didn’t close properly, leaving the room draughty all night. The only other “plus” was that the rooms were big, actually larger than another family room on the ground floor – but size alone doesn’t compensate for basement cave conditions and poor value for money. Overall, it felt massively overpriced for what we actually got. Staff didn't care for our complaints, were told to email the manager or were offered a refund to leave

    Awful.

    rating07 Mar 2026

The worst stay ever! Was kept awake all night by the loudest boiler /air con thing that was just outside our window. The noise was unbearable. Also our room was on a building across the road and felt like a hostel. Never ever again !!!

    rating17 Jan 2026

Stayed at the park Ave hotel with a friend for a girlie trip to London, which is very close to the tube.Lovely hotel, and friendly staff. A young man took our bags to our room for us,we were on the 3rd floor, and brought them down for us when we left. The Beds were very comfortable and clean, the rooms were very spacious with tea/coffee facilities. Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and they catered for my friend who is Celiac, will definitely stay again
