    I returned to the Parkwood yet again to enjoy the Christmas markets. The experience was as usual, the staff are so welcoming and accommodating.The location is superb and the facilities were good. Good value for money and a safe environment for a solo traveller.

    Tired old hotel

    This desperately tired little hotel needs to retire or be completely refurbished. My room was run down, old, uncomfortable. There was no hot water, the whole place smelt of cigarettes and I felt nervous being up 3 flights of narrow old stairs in the event of fire. Definitely not worth the £165 for the night. Upside? Receptionist was friendly and location was ideal for my purpose. Will be looking for an alternative next trip.

    Location excellent. Friendly staff ,clean rooms and an excellent English breakfast. I have used this hotel numerous times when traveling through London and have never been disappointed. Important to know no lifts or A/C.

    Staff ever so friendly nice clean rooms and an excellent choice for breakfast and it's close to all the places in central London you would want to visit and the prices for the rooms were I thought excellent
