    avoid

    rating19 Mar 2026

I stayed here for 3 nights and it was awful. I don’t know if it was the room I was in but other guests right above me were so loud every single night and I called reception and they did nothing about this. I got no sleep when I had to wake up at 5am every night . I also left my scarf in the room and I contacted the front desk twice asking about it and every answer was “ I’ll ask the cleaning staff about it” and I just gave up calling as I knew a cleaner probably stole it. Avoid at all costs. Claudia Marascu, General Manager at Point A Kensington Olympia, responded to this review Dear Phantomfan,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that you had a disappointing experience during your stay with us. Please accept our sincere apologies, as this is not the standard of service we strive to provide. We regret the disturbance caused by noise from other guests, while we cannot fully control the behavior of other guests, had we been made aware in the moment, our reception team would have been happy to intervene and request that the noise be reduced to ensure your comfort.Regarding your missing scarf, we would like to assure you that our housekeeping team did not report finding any such item, and there is no indication that it was taken. We understand how frustrating this situation must have been, and we apologize for the inconvenience caused by the lack of a clear resolution.Once again, we are very sorry for your experience and the inconvenience you faced during your stay.Despite this, we truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us and for bringing these matters to our attention.Kind regards,DivineHost Leader

    TINY, YET STYLISH ROOM

    rating15 Jan 2026

I needed to spend three nights in London before my flight and this hotel's proximity to Earls Court Station clinched the deal. Having to schlepp your bags up and down the front steps is a bit of a bummer but the inside more than makes up for this. The lobby is stylish and this continues into the rooms. This is one of the smallest rooms I’ve stayed in outside of the ferry I arrived on, but they tried their best to give bang for your buck. The bed is a good size and comfortable with bedside tables and a cabinet for your things. There’s a tiny fold-away desk/console, air-conditioning, TV, free WiFi, a divided bin for rubbish and recycling - which I personally saw all goes in the same bag - a hairdryer... and that’s it. There’s no kettle or tea & coffee, fridge or even a chair/stool to use the desk.Sadly, the only place to put your luggage is under the bed or on the floor under the console, which I chose, and I managed to avoid tripping over it during the night! The washroom was very nice with everything you need in a compact space. There was a nice, neighbourhood view out the window.Breakfast is available onsite, however, I chose to eat out.It was fine for a short stay, but I would choose a bigger room if possible next time. Anna Janikowska, General Manager at Point A Kensington Olympia, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your stay with us. We’re delighted to hear that our location near Earl’s Court Station suited your travel plans so well, and that you enjoyed the style and comfort of our lobby and rooms, particularly the bed and washroom. We appreciate your honest comments regarding room size and storage, and we understand that compact rooms can feel limiting, especially for longer stays. We’re pleased you enjoyed the neighbourhood view and found the hotel suitable for a short stay, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to London again in the future.Kind regards,Divine

    Lovely Stay

    rating01 Jan 2026

Lots of great points!Friendly and welcoming staff on arrival.Accommodated my request for early check in.Everywhere felt clean and fresh.Extremely comfortable beds.A great section of breakfast items.A lovely relaxed feeling throughout hotel.Unfortunately a couple of minor negative points too!Issues with the TV. It wasn't working on arrival but a lovely maintenance guy came promptly to sort it out. After some investigating he was able to get it working and was extremely apologetic for the time it had taken. However, on returning from my night out the TV wasn't working again and was showing the same problem as previously. This wasn't a major issue although it would have been nice to have had the option of watching it.The only other slight negative was that some of the pastry breakfast options looked rather over warmed/heated and were dark in colour and they were infact a bit too crunchy/crumbly/crispy which made them less enjoyable to eat.A suggestion to make breakfast even better would be to add toast as an option.I've stayed a few times at Point a Kensington and many times at Point a Paddington and have never been disappointed.Overall another lovely stay for a great price. Anna Janikowska, General Manager at Point A Kensington Olympia, responded to this review Dear Tracey,Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback following your stay with us. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the warm welcome, cleanliness, comfortable beds, and breakfast selection, as well as the relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel. We appreciate your comments regarding the TV and breakfast pastries, and we will review these points to see how we can further improve the guest experience. Your suggestion about adding toast to the breakfast offering has been noted. It’s wonderful to hear that you continue to choose Point A Hotels and that your visits have been enjoyable. We look forward to welcoming you back for another great stay in the future.Kind regards,Chagiat

    A good stay overall.

    rating15 Dec 2025

Stayed here for one night whilst attending an event at the Royal Albert Hall. I joined the A list at the time of booking and got 10% off and free breakfast - a day or so before we arrived, I received an email inviting me to choose my room from a plan for free. Seeing the reviews on here about some noise issues, I chose a room on the top floor and at the back of the hotel. The room itself was very compact, but also absolutely fine for what we needed. This is London, this is a cheaper hotel and its in a converted building. There's room under the bed for bags and there's a little shelf unit. They're very clear about the housekeeping being every three days... its even on a slip left on the bed. So, I can't understand what the issues people seem to have with not knowing are. There's no hot drink making facilities in the room but there's a coffee and tea station in the reception area. The TV worked fine, all the lights were as expected and the bathroom was very clean. Although the bed was comfortable, the pillows were awful (very thin and very lumpy) and four days later I still have a sore shoulder. If they don't provide extra pillows in the room, there should at least be somewhere you can either pick one up or request one. Aside from the shower door needing to be looked at (it judders closed and is difficult to operate), the shower itself was pretty powerful (better than is often in the likes of Premier Inn and Travelodge. The breakfast was pretty good, considering it was included. Loads of pastries, a selection of cereal and some fruits etc. All in all a pretty good stay. The rooms are small and functional, but with limited service. But it is no less than the chain advertises - and for the price compared to full service hotels: a reasonable person would accept it as fair. If you want a full service hotel with a kettle in the room, more space and daily cleaning - there's another chain at the end of the road, but it was more than £120 extra for the one night. Anna Janikowska, General Manager at Point A Kensington Olympia, responded to this review Dear Sam,Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed and balanced review of your stay with us.We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your visit overall and that our location worked well for your event at the Royal Albert Hall. It’s also great to know that you found value in our A-List benefits, room selection option, and included breakfast, and that choosing a quieter room met your expectations. We really appreciate your understanding of our concept and offering, particularly around room size, housekeeping schedule, and communal tea and coffee facilities. Your comments reflect exactly what we aim to provide: a comfortable, well-priced stay in central London, with transparency about what we do and don’t offer.Regarding the pillows, we’re sorry to hear that they were not comfortable for you. Extra pillows are always available on request from reception, and our team is happy to assist at any time. We appreciate you highlighting this, and we will do better to ensure this information is clearly communicated to all guests going forward. We’ve also noted your comment regarding the shower door and will ensure this is checked by our maintenance team.Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback and for choosing to stay with us. We’re pleased you found your stay good value overall, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.Kind regards,Metodi
