  Nice cheap hotel with friendly staff and comfy bedrooms.

  Very near Excel centre.During busy hour buses go past very regularly.It’s free breakfast and the rooms are super comfy with nice bed linen.It’s very clean, and secure.There is free parking here which is a major plus.The staff are very friendly and community spirited.The area is also quite safe.

  The hotel was situated perfectly for my trip and it had free parking too. I left my car in their car park and used the buses which were really handy as the stops are just outside.The hotel room was lovely and clean and warm, only grumble was there was only one coffee sachet, but I went to the supermarket underneath and bought my own.Hotelier’s were very friendly and helpful.

  Great stay in gem of a hotel

  We booked the Prince Regent Hotel Excel for two night Christmas getaway and honestly didn’t know what to expect. Upon arrival we were very warmly greeted and was assisted with bringing the luggage inside which was really appreciated. The hotel has its own private gated carpark which we used. They even allowed us to park the car there after checking out till we came back later that evening after spending some time in the local restuarant.The room it self was spotless. A bit smaller than expected but the customer service and everything else supplied more than enough made up for it.Was also quite surprised to see our room was front facing as it was very quite and we had a good night sleep. It had everything you needed. An iron and ironing board in the wardrobe with the safe and even a fan was supplied. The hairdyer already in the room was plus too.For the Muslim traveller theres is a beautiful quran translated in English in the desk drawer.They have a complimentary supply of fresh fruit such as apples, bananas and oranges in the lobby everyday and water bottles when needed.The customer service from Raheel and Rehman ( The 2 men at the front desk) was excellent and they made our stay there more enjoyable if we needed anything they made it happened and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel it self is ideally situated near the Excel and The Prince Regent station where you can catch the Elizabeth line and the DLR into London was only 8 mins walk from the hotel.The hot breakfast was lovely and deliciously prepared fresh and on the spot. I would recommend booking directly via the hotel website and you will get a complimentary breakfast included. Overall I highly recommend this hotel

  Hidden gem of a hotel

  I very much enjoyed my two-night stay at the Prince Regent hotel while recently volunteering for Crisis Christmas. The hotel management and staff were friendly and helpful, the room was impeccably clean and relaxing, and the bed was super comfortable. Every detail has been considered here, so it feels like a boutique four-star hotel. As a solo female American tourist, I am particular about where I stay, especially when traveling internationally. I was pleased with my experience here and highly recommend this lovely hotel.

  Decent small hotel, the rooms are small but comfy enough, the shower head in mine was scaled up which was dissapointing - more a tap than a shower! The staff are really friendly and the free secure parking is a great advantage. For me though the high price of the room did not really match the standard and facilities.
