    A solid 4 stay with its own identity - but not a 5

    The hotels location will suit those who are comfortable with a 15 minute walk to Clapham Junction station, or simply using Ubers. Its rooms are very large and exceptionally clean but the decor is very unique and some would say dated. The car park is spacious for a hotel (especially in London) and access is easy on arrival. Yes, the spa was all fully functional but clearly hasn’t had an update in quite some time. The main reasons why this hotel is a 4, but in my opinion should not be listed as a 5 star are based on guest services.When asking for a drink from room service at 10:30pm we were told sorry, no room service but there is a vending machine around the corner.A true 5 star hotel would offer a limited selection of basic room service at all times.When checking out (7am) the staff on desk was a night porter who didn’t really understand what he needed to do. Or offer to help us with our bags.These might seem like details but to live up to your posting as a 5 star hotel you need to have them.

    I have stayed in many London hotels where the room is tiny. Here the room was spacious and clean. The decor is a bit strange and so is the music playing, it’s all a bit old school/odd. However the staff were lovely, the breakfast was good and the room large and spacious so it was a good stay. On a negative, the spa is appalling, tiny and not worth attending and while I think this was a good stay it is absolutely no where near a 5 star hotel.

    Do not book this “5 star” hotel, it is a con.Seriously do not understand how this hotel has a 5 star rating.We paid around 130 for one night stay.The spa was terrible, the hot tub was falling apart and there were sharp edges along the side which were peeling off to show black mould. The “pool” is no more than 8 feet long and wasn’t functioning.Our room was run down and there was issues with the air con and heating which kept coming in and off and the floors left my feet dirty.The shower in the room was just really gross with anti slip stickers which must have the bacteria of a hundred previous guests.The TV suggests that all rooms have a media centre which allows connections of personal devices - this is just a straight lie.The entire place is just a basic run down hotel, nothing is as advertisedStaff seem okay but a waiter in the restaurant rolled their eyes at us when we he asked us to move and we requested to sit at the bar and finish our drinks

    Comfortable bed and facilties. The jaccuzzi helped relief my pains. There was loads of room withn the room to sit and talk
