The Royal Albert Hall can also be reached in 20 minutes' walk, and Westminster is a 10-minute ride away on the Underground. London Heathrow Airport is approximately 24 km from the hotel, while London Luton Airport and Gatwick Airport are both roughly 50 km away.

Facility

The hostel has a lift and features 193 non-smoking rooms. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. I had a very bad experience staying at Smart Hyde Park. The washroom was not clean and not in good condition. I had specifically requested a lower bed due to my leg injury, but my request was not considered. The reception staff were rude and not helpful at all.There was also a lot of disturbance in the room from other guests, which made it very uncomfortable to rest. Overall, I did not feel safe during my stay. I am very disappointed with the service and would not recommend this place.If you’d like, I can also make it shorter (for Google review) or more formal (for an official complaint email). Amazing looking ! Shops, restaurants, bus and tube facilities so near and so easy! Rooms are OKAY for the price, the bed are comfortable, rooms were clean. There wasn't much noise from the people actually, the actual noise was from the water flow in the bathroom and the locker opening! There's always sombody to help at the reception which is so NICE! I came to this hostel SOLO and I met an amazing friend from ASIA! Guess what ? We are planning another trip together in september! Overall ok but needs some improvements

Bed was comfortable and clean, staff was nice, very good location. However, room and toilet was super small and the door and windows did not close properly. Very noisy doors in the corridor and you could hear tap water from other rooms running very loudly. But overall it was ok. Location was great. Everything else wasn't.Shower didnt work correctly, went from cold to scolding hot like a pendulum, and the movement detector was outside the shower curtain, so the light went out after a few minutes. Not worth getting your own private bathroom.Atmosphere was kinda weird too, people looking at you funny, not even saying hi or anything.Room was ok, it didn't have much airflow, and it was very loud because the walls are hallow. Bed was bad, not comfortable at all.Value-wise it was ok. Would prefer to go here over other hostels. Most of the hostel was clean though, which I do appreciate.IMPORTAN NOTE: there are no elevators from what I've seen, so if you have any movement disabilities, do not come here.Reception was ok, not very friendly but not mean in any way.It didn't come with any amenities, you have to pay for everything except wifi, which was bad.Overall, I'd say this places deserves a 3/10 rating.
