The front desk attitude was not helpful. The room had no tea or sugar, TV didn't work and broken cupboard. When we told them about the TV they had no interest to help. We asked for a refund 10 minutes after we arrived for check in and they said no. We should call the owners. We tried calling but there was no answer and no reply to our email.

Location perfect for Battersea power station experience and Buckingham palace. The rooms are very basic but clean and it's cheap. Great restaurants and cafes close by.

I'm glad I didn't read reviews before coming here. It would have put me off! To be honest I only booked here due to prices and not far from Westminster. We used this hotel as a base to see London and what we needed it for we have no complaints! We found the staff helpful and friendly. Even got me an extra pillow and a hairdryer. The room was clean and housekeeping made beds and emptied bins daily. Which we didn't expect. It is an older building so U expect a few faults but nothing thats worth complaining about! We was in room 102 on the main floor near reception, apart from the planes it was very quiet! Overall we had a great three nights and will return!

Avoid this hotel at all costs

I asked for clean sheets after my first night of stay and was told I couldnt have one according to their policy I could only have a clean sheet after three nights of stay. The room was stuffy and mouldy and the mattress was probably as old as the hotel itself... all would have been bearable if I felt welcome. The staff were so hostile I felt entirely unwanted and as though I was imposing. Avoid this 'hotel' at all costs.

Very old and poorly maintained hotel

My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing, different from the hotel photos. The building is very old and clearly hasn’t been renovated in a long time. It seems poorly maintained, with broken lamps, wardrobes with doors that don’t open, and a general lack of cleanliness — everything looks like it’s only superficially cleaned. The bathroom had visible mold, the pillows were too hard and the mattress too soft, and the heating didn’t work. The rooms on the 4th floor have no internet access. The hotel’s photos are clearly outdated and do not reflect the current reality. Although the location is good and the price is affordable, the hotel is in unacceptable condition and needs major renovation to continue operating. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families.
