The hotel was built in 1908. The hotel has 2 suites, 385 single rooms and 398 double rooms, which are located on 9 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day.     Excellent staff were always helpful. I would particularly highlight Anthony on the door who was ever cheerful and helpful with my wife who is just recovering from a knee operation. Aslo a mention for Kara on reception who was efficient and professional at all times

    I had a very pleasant stay at Strand Palace Hotel overall.A special thank you to Mohammed for his outstanding welcome and exceptional service. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help. He provided great support with my luggage and made me feel genuinely welcomed throughout my stay. His positive attitude and dedication to guest satisfaction truly stood out and made my experience much more enjoyable. Mohammed is a great asset to the hotel team.The hotel itself was comfortable, and I generally had a good experience. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The bathroom light in my room was not working for the last two days of my stay. I attempted to contact reception several times, but unfortunately, my calls were not answered. In addition, I was surprised that there was no luggage assistance service available either upon arrival or during check-out, which would have enhanced the overall guest experience.
