    Sufficient rooms, great location

    rating27 Apr 2025

Love that the rooms are small but sufficient, equipped with everything that you need - good use of space. I've stayed here once and twice at Studios2let Cartwright Gardens (photo shared), and I love the ones at Cartwright Gardens more; the rooms here are a bit bigger. However, they're both greatly located.

    Not Ensuit

    rating23 Sept 2024

Typical London studio, within a large row of terrace buildings, lovely and close to Euston station. Entering I was greeting by a lovely receptionist and given my room key. My room was on the 4th floor which is quite a hike up the stairs but nothing I did not expect, opened the room to a basic room and small kitchen, bed was rickity and one of a pull out kind of bed on thin metal legs, basic mattress but not to bad, small TV, but no bathroom. I then noticed a second key, my ensuite was in the corridor, not ideal and certainly not what I booked. I was tired and needed to do some work so just lived with it, something I regretted twice in the night when I had to get dressed, unlock my door, go into the corridor, lock my door, unlock the bathroom and then repeat in reverse. Sleep was not great, blinds did not cover the windows so light was pouring in, door had a large gap under so the main lights in the corridor also flooded under the door, room was really hot so had to leave the window open, busy area so again very noisy. Would I stay again afraid not

This is NOT an apartment. NOT a studio

    rating09 Jun 2024

I was looking forward to my weeken stay in my London apartment.... so I was extremely disappointed to discover I was actually renting a box room with a sink inside a wardrobe and a microwave on the top wardrobe shelf. This does not class as a kitchenette. I appreciate that the proprietor will be doing the best with what they've got, but in this case the price should reflect the provision and it absolutely doesn't.You could lie in bed and (almost) touch all 4 walls at the same time. The furniture was shabby. I didn't use the bathroom, it was so smalland I didn't want to get stuck.Sleep was difficult due to the noise of the tube trains passing underneath constantly. The location is good. Very close to Euston and Euston Square. lots of grocery shops and restaurants on the same road and a pub across the way. Handy for the hospital, Marlylebone and Blooomsbury. A shame it was so overpriced and underwhelming.

    Not value for money

    rating22 Apr 2024

The cost of this accommodation should be indicative of its quality. Sadly, it is not.We paid £360 for 2 nights to be in a basement room with no view and the sound of underground trains every few seconds. It was small, very tired and the bed and mattress were not even real, they were a kind of king sized camp bed. and very uncomfortable. The bathroom was SO small, roughly the size you would expect in a caravan. Even though we paid for 2 nights, we could't stomach the second and left.As a proprietor myself, I understand that not all expectations can be managed, however, I believe that all accommodation should provide the basics, which is the space to be comfortable, a comfortable bed and the peace and quiet to sleep. None of these were provided. On the plus side. the sheets were clean and the shower was hot, but you really couldn't afford to drop the soap!London has too much of this standard of accommodation, pricey but miserable. I shall not be visiting the capital again.
