  Though the location is good, but its not maintained properly. We stayed here for 2 nights and the bathroom sink gave us trouble every day, even though we complained about it and as per them they fixed it, still nothing changed and water was not passing down. Check-in was very late and they accommodated our request. We got a decent-sized room but with a small bathroom. No separate space for the shower and commode. And that was disgusting. We even asked for a room change but they said every room is like that onlyNot true, because the next day our friend checked in and she got a nice room, with a proper bathroom at the same rate. An electric kettle was provided with numerous paper cups, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, and milk. Water bottles were also provided, which was a lovely extra touch.The reception area was very good, though, especially the guest sitting area. This is a budget hotel, about a 10-15 min walk from King’s Cross station, and that is its only USP.While going out, you have to hand over your key at reception. You can also store your luggage if you want after checkout. The staff were friendly. The only con side for me was- its bathroom size and sink issue. 3/5 for me

  It's a modest establishment with for London budget friendly prices. It's clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower fine and the WiFi excellent. There is a small kettle in the room with Nescafe packets, tea and milkThe location is good, too on a fairly quiet street a short walk from King's Cross St. Pancras tube station. It's a 24 minute walk to the British Museum.There's a comfortable seating area near reception if you have to wait to check-in or take off after check-out. There is a lavatory, too.They will store your bag, also.Despite a sign in the room indicating that check-out is at 11:00, it's instead at a very early 10:30. They actually knocked on my door at 10:45 telling me it was past check-out time.

  Grot but polite!

  Let's start with the good: perfect location and the staff are perfectly polite and courteous. The garden has real potential.Now the room: we booked this though booking.com. and the photos are not a true reflection and definitely not worth the price.Our room was on the 3rd floor and was hot and grot. The shower curtain in the wet room/toilet has definitely seen better days and there is no option to open the window as there is no privacy. I think the TV remote sums the room up (see photo).We didn't brave the breakfast

  Handy for King's Cross/Business Design Centre

  The staff were lovely - so helpful. Breakfast was pretty good, and it was handy to have a place to sit in the foyer to meet with colleagues. However, the rooms were pretty basic. The curtains towels and duvets have seen better days, need renewing.

  Mizan and reception staff provided excellent hospitality, are very courteous and helpful. Rooms have window and ensuite bathroom, rooms are well equipped with electric kettle, TV, towels and hairdryer. Breakfast is served with plenty of tea, coffee, and different breads, cold cuts, joghurt, etc.
