    Lovely stay for our Wedding!

    My now Husband and I stayed here last month for two nights to celebrate our wedding, also held in Chelsea.We originally booked to stay in the Chelsea Double, and during a day trip to London, we decided to pop into the hotel and ask to see one of the rooms to check there was sufficient space to host the bridal team for the morning of the wedding. The staff were extremely accommodating. Courteous, polite - everything you would expect for a 5* hotel.What concerned us however, was that we were told one of the Chelsea Double rooms was situated on the basement level 'lower ground' of the hotel. Conversations via email continued for a few weeks as I requested, due to the nature of our stay, that we would prefer to be in one of the ground floor rooms. This was the most special occasion for us, and we didn't want to spend our wedding stay in a basement level room, whilst also being concerned that the lighting wouldn't be adequate for the makeup artist or hair stylist on the wedding morning. The responses caused significant anxiety ahead of our stay, as the team were adamant that they couldn't confirm a ground floor room would be available to us, as rooms were allocated ad-hoc, on the day. Surely it wasn't difficult to do this for us - we weren't asking for an upgrade! Nevertheless, we decided to stick with our booking, primarily because of it's location and private gardens that we knew would be a great addition for photographs.Upon arrival, we were greeted by Abdul - who became a significantly memorable part of our stay. He went above and beyond for us and, to our surprise, welcomed us to a King Size Suite as an upgrade. I can only assume this was to compensate for our concerns in the lead up to our stay.We found the room and hotel to be beautiful. The bathrooms are small, yes, and we would have loved for there to have been a bath. But the view was delightful, the bed comfortable, amenities faultless and 'special touches' truly unforgettable.Breakfast was nice, though had we not have prepaid for this, we would have likely gone elsewhere in Chelsea to eat. After all - there are so many options. I will say that the atmosphere was a bit drab, and it would've really benefitted from some soft music - or something to provide a little ambience. No music in a restaurant is just odd, in my opinion.Overall a wonderful stay and we would 100% return! A huge thank you to Abdul, the housekeeping team and all staff who contributed individually into making this stay so memorable for us.     The best brunch and value in London in my opinion. It’s at the heart of Chelsea. Food is good and the waitresses are kind Ranjita and Dilasssa. They were attentive and welcoming.
