Location

The hotel is located along a main road some 500 m from Buckingham Palace and other top London attractions such as the Houses of Parliament. Victoria Station (railway) is close by and Victoria Tube station (Victoria, District and Circle Lines) is just a 2-minute walk away. An abundance of shops and nightclubs are around 1 km away and it is a mere 100 m to the nearest bars, restaurants, pubs and links to the public transport network.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1862. Guests have a choice of 348 non-smoking rooms, including 3 suites, 25 single rooms and 319 double rooms, located in a 7-storey main building and a 5-storey auxiliary building. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Great hotel, perfect location. Staff at reception was very professional. The check-in was a bit long but Corina handled it so well. I was upgraded to a suite, I'm very grateful! Highly recommend.

    Pre-Cruz day in a wonderful location with fantastic staff

    We booked this hotel for the location and it was even better than we imagined. Old world charm, exceptional service, very comfortable for us and our 17-year-old in a standard room.Special shout out to Lavinia at the front desk and Rene, who was our porter and doorman on many occasions. They both went above and beyond - Lavinia was exceptionally personable and helpful during our entire stay. We also had lunch at Soak, and the breakfast buffet twice during our stay, both of which were also extremely well with equally lovely staff. There were tons of options for the breakfast buffet and Soak had a really good selection different types of foods and even if you had any special diets, they were happily accommodated.We cannot wait to come back… In fact, we booked ourselves another day for our post cruise night in London. I’m looking forward to another wonderful night in this beautiful hotel.
