  I recently stayed at The Fairway and I highly recommend them because they're a family run hotel and all the staff make you feel welcome - they're always happy to recommend places of interest or explain easy ways of getting around London etc.Their rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy but perfect for a short or long stay.They're conveniently situated in easy reach of all the major airports and also catching the underground, trains or buses to the major sights....even easy to get to Paris should you want to include that in your plans!For me 5***** and I highly recommend them ☺️

  It is what it says on the tin

  I’ve given this a 5 for it being what it says on the tin. It sells itself as a budget hotel within walking distance for King’s Cross and Eurostar. This is exactly what it was. Basic, small room but for one night with a 3 minute walk to Eurostar it was exactly what we wanted. If you are after a bit of luxury then this isn’t for you but then they don’t claim to be. Would stay again if using Eurostar

  Excellent budget hotel, clean and well located.

  Excellent budget hotel, very close to King's Cross. Rooms are small but fully functional and had everything we needed. Extremely clean and good toiletries with a good supply of refreshments. You can hear the rumbling of the trains, but they are considering putting earplugs in the rooms. We were so tired the first night and slept through it, but it disturbed us on the second night. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely stay here again.

  Two stars for good location , zero for the rest

  The only good point is the convenient location near Kings Cross and STP trains, and numerous food options nearby. For what we paid , expected soMuch more, especially with the misleading photos. Fail to see how this hotel is ranked #33 in London. Since we prepaid on Expedia couldn’t leave early.Stairs are narrow , and quite uneven, which could be a challenge for someone with mobility issues On arrival, found numerous pubic and human hairs in the sheets. Wouldn’t call the room “clean” at all. Tiny Washroom has constant smell of sewer. We had Room #16 and the washroom door won’t fully close. Two bath towels , 1 floor towel, some body wash. No shampoo, No face clothes, no hand towels …… is this the norm in Europe? No place to open your bags, except on the bed . Tiny closet to hang 5 items. Pretty cramped room for 2 adults with luggage. A fold down luggage shelf is suggested for management to consider Bed was ok, reasonably comfortable. No AC, just a cheap table fan, thankfully not that hot here in May…… likely will be uncomfortably warm in summer months .Construction behind the hotel starts at 8am daily , so no chance of sleeping in.

  We had a one night stay here, nice and friendly staff, clean room, nice bed. Just one thing to be aware of, the hotel is over 4 floors, and does not have a lift. The lad who checked us in, was nice enough to carry my partners suitcase up to the 3rd floor, which was nice of him. The hotel is good, and we would recommend it to others. Ideal location next to St Pancras and King's Cross railway stations
