    Quiet, pleasant, comfortable

    This small, quiet, beautifully renovated and slightly quirky hotel-with-a-mission suits me perfectly. Attractive and extremely comfortable, it is easy walking distance to trains, tube, buses, the British Museum, etc. We stayed there 2 weeks last year in a lovely king superior room, and recently I stayed alone in a smaller room that was still very nice. The staff are most communicative and accommodating, and recently Olu was particularly helpful to me. Not for you if you want night life at your doorstep, but ideal if you want an oasis of peace in central London.     We enjoyed a three night stay in a king room. The room was clean and very well equipped, though small as most London hotel rooms are.The front desk staff was particularly good- everything time we needed something- from directions to a stapler, they were helpful and cheerful.The neighborhood is charming- walkable to the British Museum, St. Pancras station and even to West End shows.     I booked this hotel last minute due to train cancellations and was very impressed. The staff were exceptionally helpful, the room was clean and had everything I needed plus a few extras. It was very clean and comfortable. It was a hot night which spoiled my sleep somewhat but a fan was provided. Everything had been thought of. A lovely hotel would definitely recommend.
