    I loved my stay in the Melita. Great location, nice room (new and comfy mattresses), and very nice staff who are courteous and helpful, My favorite thing was opening my door in the morning and smelling fresh baked pastries, which they served with coffee in the lobby. The Tube is a five minute walk and I walked 25 minutes to Westminster. I am definitely coming back!

    The Melita is a small, well-located hotel (near Victoria Station) that invites you to experience the traditional atmosphere of a London home. I must highlight the staff, who are extremely friendly and welcoming. Just be aware that the stairs are a bit narrow and, being an older building, it's noisier than a modern hotel.

    We had a very comfortable stay at the Melita. After a very long flight it was great that the bed was so comfortable. We were greeted warmly and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The complimentary pastries and coffee the next morning were delicious and straight out of the oven. It was in a very handy position for restaurants and to visit the Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace the next morning. Easy walk to Victoria station then onto Gatwick for our next flight. I would definitely stay here again.

    Beautiful location in the heart of London but in such a peaceful area. Lots of lovely parks with fountains to walk through and picnic in. less than 10 mins from the river. The hotel was spotless, a home from home, and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful, great value for money and the delicious fresh baked complimentary pastries and coffee for breakfast were a lovely touch. we will definitely be back.
