  They steal your money!

  Do not stay here.We were charged for a room that was completely unacceptable — it was dirty, with curtains hanging off the rails. When we opened the curtains to the outside area, it was covered in cigarette butts, which made the whole experience even worse.We raised the issue immediately and requested a refund. The hotel agreed to refund us, but after that, we were given the runaround. Despite repeated follow-ups, we have still not received the £345 owed to us.Communication has now completely stopped — they are no longer responding at all.Very disappointing experience and extremely poor service. I would strongly advise avoiding this place.

  Best location we could have wished for, friendly atmosphere on arrival, nice clean rooms with comfy beds and all amenities and best of all great value for money an absolute diamond of a find very highly recommended

  The hotel is in a great location. The check in was great too, however the room was small and not maintained. The radiator was on, we couldn’t turn it off. There was a floor fan in the room, which we had to keep on all night to compensate. The walls had a film of dust on them. The window pane was broken and taped up. The shutters were broken. Tiles were cracked on the bathroom floor. The bathroom tap was unsecured and rusty. The shower door was broken.The mattress was comfy to sleep on but I’m glad I didn’t look closer at it until the next morning as it was unclean. I’m sad to leave this review, but I feel people need to know what to expect for the money.

  Hotel nightmare ……. Better hotels out there for the price

  We choose this hotel due to the location. Photos of the place looked quirky and a bit different from the normal chain of hotels we stay in.Weekend away to Xmas shop and look at the Xmas lights.On arrival staff made us feel welcomed. Room very disappointing. No loo roll which was sorted out very quickly but from here all became a bit of a nightmare. Door ah for to room fell off in our hand so security issue straight away. Not able to change rooms as full. Long day in London so wanted to chill in room for a while no remote for tv took hour for staff to try and re code a new remote to be told they couldn’t help and maintenance would sort in morning. Which did happen. I see bed when lining for missing remote empty water bottles and newspaper. Shower tray and curtain bad mould issue. The whole room was dirty. Needs a good deep clean and some TLC. Bathroom cabinet just about hanging on wall little things missing which would have made our stay a bit more comfortable. I would say yes location brilliant, staff friendly but hotel a nightmare. For the money we spent there are better hotels out there and will be going back to the popular chain I normally use

  Read a lot of bad reviews before and was expecting the worst but… Pros: Great location. It was clean. We got a room for 4 of us at a very reasonable price. Really comfortable beds - we all slept so well! The staff were nice. We were able to check in early and store our bags after check out. Cons: There are obvious signs of general wear and tear - majority of the spot light bulbs were out and the floor was pretty worn. The shower took a long time to drain. Sink very small and there was no bath mat.Ultimately you get what you pay for. It’s central London and for us, for the weekend that we had, it was perfect.
