It IS the best hotel in London!

We stayed at the Resident Covent Garden on our first visit to London in a long time at the first week of June.The hotel is in the most central location, at the corner of Bedford st with The Strand, a very convenient location with lots of attractions, restaurants and shops nearby. The neighborhood is safe at night for 2 women travelling solo. We went to see Matilda, the Musical, Mamma Mia! and La Fille Mal Gardée at the Royal Opera House, all on walking distance and feeling very safe all the time.The hotel itself is a small one but kept meticulously clean and in order. The doors are secured and only open with your hotel room card. There’s a small lobby populated by the most incredible staff! They are exceptional! Nothing is too much and you feel at home on the spot! The room is well-appointed and you are able to get lots of amenities without cramping the room. The kitchenette is hidden inside one of the wardrobes and is so useful with its small refrigerator, coffee machine, microwave, sink with filtered water, utensils etc... The bathroom is perfection and the shower has incredible pressure! Housekeeping kept our room very clean every day and supplied us with anything that might be missing. Ah, and they even have umbrellas you can use during your stay. They received a couple of packages from Amazon for me and kept my mobility scooter until my arrival. I was feeling a bit of a nuisance guest but they treated me with such kindness and respect that my mobility issues didn’t feel like a burden!Thank you so much, Resident Covent Garden staff! We’ll be back!
