This elegant, well-known hotel is situated directly beside the River Thames and in Convent Garden at the heart of the theatre district of London. Only a few minutes away, guest will reach The London Eye (moving wheel) and Soho. Facility

The hotel was built in 1889. 263 rooms, including 68 suites, 37 single rooms and 144 double rooms, are available to guests in an 8-storey main building and a 9-storey auxiliary building. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Rooms

    I would like to thank KYNDRA at The Savoy she was very PROFESSIONAL and RESPECTFUL to us upon applying and moving in she made our move in easy. I would like to give a special thanks to maintenance team also for coming out less then 24 hours to fix the MINOR things that needed their attention. But my biggest concern is the whomever it is that do the make ready cleaning upon move in needs to pay more detail attention to sliding doors with all the dirty grime in the door that dirt needs to be cleaned so the door can slide easy and clean the windows to make it look presentable for new tenants, but other than that everything else was GREATThe entire Savoy staff ROCKS!     Well no surprise here - or is there? Went to have a few Cocktails in the American Bar at the London Savoy but unfortunately was not allowed in as it was at capacity (you can't book). However, the ladies advised us to have a drink in the now famously nicknamed (by me) 'The Waiting Room' which is hidden just to the left of the entrance to the American Bar. Personal Cocktail makers were there for any order and this is the twist - Oscar Wilde famously drank a cocktail in Paris called 'Le Boulevardier' (basically puts the Negroni to shame - apologies my Italian friends), which disappeared off the global Cocktail list until being resurrected again in 2004 (I think). I have been asking for this cocktail all over the world (slight exaggeration) and have never found it. But not this time - I mentioned it to the fellow on the right of the photo (forgive me but fame is not your choice) who assured me he knew what the Cocktail (I also think he pronounced it much better than me) was. Well I take my hat off to him because I felt like a practitioner of Hellenism where after death I walk the dark earth as a "perpetual Boulevardier watching the angels hurrying by- if there are any angels" (100% plagiarized - sorry Peter A. 1983). It was like stepping back in time outside the famous Cafe Paris sitting with Wilde and enjoying his tipple. Go and try- and forgive me if i just say have no more than two.     Breakfast at the Savoy was fantastic . We had the savoy breakfast and the Arnold Bennett Omelette, both were delicious. The staff are amazing. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable.
