  Had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel opposite Hyde Park.The hotel personnel is absolutely great and took care of me on every single interaction.Kudos to the GM and his team as they are all top professionals

  Smoking Hotel

  This is not a non--smoking hotel because cigar smoke from the smoking room seeps into the elevators, upstairs hallways, and all of the rooms on the main floor including reception. It caused me to have several asthma attacks during our 4-night stay. We loved our room but had to go to another hotel nearby to have a drink after dinner and could never eat in the restaurant.   I went to the hotel bar for a quick drink before going out for dinner. I asked 2 glasses of white wine to the barman. He suggested the Pouilly Fuisse to which i said ok, little did I know that he suggested the most expensive white wine by the glass of their entire wine card. Result: GBP 130 for the 2 glasses. Out of curiosity i checked the market value of that particular bottle (2023) and it showed 90 quid! They charge £23 for a glass of Veuve Cliquot and that costs 55/60 in a shop. When I complained to the food and bev manager, zero apology abt the barman's stunt, zero justification for the 65 quid per glass.   Our stay at the Wellesley Knightsbridge exceeded our expectations in every way - the staff were superb and very friendly- the accommodations were very comfortable - the concierge staff were experienced and very knowledgeable- Juan went out of his way to ensure all of our requests were met with personal attention - the breakfast staff were simply amazing
