Located in the centre of Luton and overlooking St. George’ Square, the hotel is ideal for a business or leisure stay. It is perfectly located for exploring the Bedfordshire countryside or as a stopover for Luton Airport.

Facility

152 non-smoking rooms are located on 10 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services include room service, an alarm call service and a laundry service. Rooms

    Whilst the hotel provided us with what we needed for a conference nearby. The hotel was ok, not the best Thistle stayed in but served our purpose, clean room and good breakfast. Staff helpful. However where the hotel is located is in an undiserable location. Hotel next to the shopping mall. Males in groups hanging along the walk way and hanging around near entrance to hotel. Steps lead down to a square again lots of males hanging around. Heard shouting in the middle of night below hotel. Conversations sounded like a drug deal!! We as 4 mature females felt unsafe whilst venturing out, so stayed in the hotel. The hotel was ok.     Perfect accommodation in the Old Quarter

    We arrived early morning after a long haul flight from Australia. Although check-in was 3pm, they kindly arranged for it to be several hours earlier. We stowed our luggage and fsmiliarised ourselves with the area. The room small but comfortable. Whilst the establishment is old, they have worked hard to freshen it up. There was a heat wave so no air-conditioning want great but a pedestal fan was provided. The big bonus was the staff. Leah, the reception manager was friendly, efficient and ready and willing to provide information, directions and assistance. This level of customer service is what makes all the difference. Well done Leah and crew Included breakfast was well presented and perfectly adequate.     Brilliant Thistle service!!

    Right from our arrival the staff made our stay a breeze, we had arrived very early, so they sorted bag storage, upgraded our room and gave great directions for our airport transfer - including brekkie for our silly 6:30am start! We were tired from a long flight and the front desk service was brilliant, our thanks especially to the cool Italian guy.Wetherspoons is 5mins away for great dining out.     Worse hotel I have ever stayed in

    Long queue to check in and it was after 10pm. A guy pushed in front of us in the queue which was odd. The guy behind us was extremely agigitated by an issue he had. Upon checking in to our room, the window was broken and could not be closed. The window is huge and opens outwards. An adult could easily jump out. Only the sliding window in front could be slid in front of the broken open window. We have a toddler and she couldn't sleep in the bed in front of the window because she could have quite easily fell through the window and were on the 6th floor! The lock on the door was broken and the chain also did not work. The bath was dirty and filled with water whilst showering. Our neighbour started talking very loud, shouting, arguing, slamming doors, playing Arabic music very loud between 11pm-4am!! I made two calls to reception. The first time they sent 'security' up but it continued. I rang again and they said they had already sent security up. At approx 1am-1.15am I went down to reception myself. The guy was sat scrolling through his phone whilst sat in the chairs in reception. I explained I had called twice and it had continued. We cannot sleep, we have a nearly 2 year old daughter. We had driven over 2 hours already. We had to been up at 5am and were extremely time. Another guy came from the back of reception to apologise and asked if we would like to move rooms. This was not possible because our daughter had eventually fell asleep on our bed and ours bags were all opened/partially unpacked due to getting ready for bed. My husband and I had to sleep with headphones in. We have audio recordings of the noise as evidence. I explained to the guy in reception, I want my money back as booking this hotel was the worse decision we had made. We did not feel safe at all. I formally request a response and a full refund.     I had unpleasant experience and the hotel location is inconvenient and hard to find. The room is very warm and no ventilation and there is no kettle or water in the room.
