    Away for a work trip and Tia, Red and Mirian were amazing. They made sure I was well looked after and were super friendly. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay with excellent service - stay here! Thank you so much to the team, you made my trip extra special :)

    I’ve stayed at this Travelodge many times over the years. A couple of times a month. In fact it was my preferred location of the ones nearby. This is unfortunately no longer teller case. I’ve notice the greetings and friendly service has slowly disappeared. I walked in and saw James being the counter was expecting his normal polite and helpful self. But it seems this location had had a management style change. No longer was it the friendly personal greeting. It was now all corporate and cold. Answering 3 confirmation question. Got all correctly so why ask 3? Most location settle for 1. Then I was asked if I stayed here before. I replied “many times” the response was cold, not welcome back etc… just well you know all this but I’ll repeat it anyway. Then James went into robot mode and told me all about the hotel , restaurant etc. times etc. He showed zero recognition that I was a repeat customer ( having just stated that in my reply) he was robotic and ticking boxes totally impersonal. This was my favourite Travelodge in the area, but it’s been let down by a change in attitude by the staff. Although the London City Airport location is older and more tired. The staff there are excellent and much friendlier and more welcoming. I’ll be staying at that location after this month.

    We go here often while working at excel. James has always been very accommodating and very friendly. We once had an issue where the pluming had an issue and rooms were out of service which was not the hotels fault. However, James was very clear and open about it and went the extra mile till we were sorted out. The man catering for the breakfast was also very friendly and altogether made for a great experience.
