This comfortable hotel lies amidst peaceful gardens and is situated close to the centre of London where there are countless shopping and entertainment venues just waiting to be explored. Links to the public transport network (Earls Court underground station) lie about 100 m away and restaurants and bars are to be found some 800 m from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1860. 19 rooms, including 4 single rooms and 14 double rooms, are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Other services include a 24-hour security service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Fine weather can be enjoyed on the terrace. After an eventful day, guests can work out and recharge in the gym.

    Well based for tube, clean hotel, very cute. Adequate breakfast, continually replenished. Excellent friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our london break staying here.     Stayed here in previous years and loved it. Booked one night special occasion theatre trip with granddaughter - 'superior' twin room. Standard of service and accommodation has declined - at that price, won't be going there again. Room poky, towels small, limp, washed out. Service not helpful. Kettle burnt my hand, falling apart. Took it down to reception. It was not replaced during stay. One star for comfortable bed.     Pretty good location. Quiet and safe. 5 mins walk to Earl's Court tube. Odd little boutique place. V weird check in where they take your passport and copy it. So odd for a U.K. citizen. I asked who owned the hotel and the Indian lady receptionist would not tell me. Very small room. Bed filled half the room. A super weird huge plasterwork gold royal crown above the bed. Room v v basic. But very clean. A little old and dilapidated. Continental breakfast was actually pretty good and the coffee was good.I had a pretty good rate so have no complaints. Would not stay again though.     The accommodation was spotless. The rooms are beautiful with lots of curious furnishings. Close enough to the tube to access all the tourist spots easily.The staff were welcoming, helpful and always smiling!
