  Grubby tired hotel

  Positive first - had no choices of hotel in Hammersmith all were full - was cheap for area but you get what you pay for.Negative (plenty) very very tired hotel. Very noisy, buzzing noise going on all the time, not sure where from. Carpets stained and very grubby. Generally did not feel clean. I could go on but you get the gist.

  I'm going to start with the positives locations is so close to the tube and the bedding towels etc were all very clean and fresh. But what could have been a hidden gem turned out to be completely run down, the wardrobe door was hanging off, bathroom window didn't shut and overlooked entrance, plug hanging off the wall and the room had an odour of mould. On arrival your greeted by bins and someone was hanging their shoes out of the window. Room size was good and with an overhaul could have been great place to stay, If they don't do anything Health and Safety will probably shut this place down very soon.

  ON ITS AR*SE - worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Dirty floors, dirty walls, bathroom was filthy. Looks absolutely nothing like the photos. If you are thinking of staying here I suggest you stay elsewhere. My daughter felt physically sick that staying here for 1 night.

  Wouldn't recommend a last minute late night stay, you'll end up needing to book somewhere else

  I booked a very last minute stay at this hotel last night at 11pm as a solo female. When I arrived, they said the room I had reserved 10 mins prior wasn't available but they could offer me a worse room (but did not offer me a lower price). They showed me the room, and exhausted after a long day travelling, I was willing to accept it. Then, I was told I had to go back to reception and make payment despite my card details having already been taken when I booked the room. The hotel website let me reserve/pay using Amex and they had Amex stickers in their windows to say they accept Amex. I was told at 11pm that they in fact didn't take Amex. I pointed to the Amex stickers in the window and said "why do you have this sticker then and why does the website let me book with Amex" and the staff member said "I don't know". I was then told to make another reservation via their website using another card. I felt this was just such an unnecessary stress. When I went to do this, the room rate was suddenly different from what I had previously booked. As a solo female traveller gone 11pm I felt so uncomfortable and that I was being messed around so I actually chose to leave the hotel and find somewhere else to stay, which given the time of night was far from ideal. I wouldn't want anyone else to go through a similar late night experience.
