    BEDBUG INFESTED HOTEL. STINGY, GREEDY OWNER.

    BEDBUGSI ended up in the emergency room at Chelsea Hospital with more than 100 bedbug bites. Needed predisone because of the anaphylaxis. The owner ignored my report and refused to any refund, then ghosted me. Ruined my vacation and my tennis performance at the tournament.

    Having rung the doorbell at 4.00pm numerous times and waited for 15 minutes I phoned the hotel to be let in remotely. There were no staff in the hotel at all. I picked up the key from a shelf in the main corridor. There were three flights of stairs to my room, fortunately I could manage my own suitcases but if I couldn’t there was no one to help. The room was adequate but when hanging up clothes in the wardrobe there were lumps of wood on the shelf inside the wardrobe. The shower was abysmal providing a trickle of water with the shower head stuck at an angle sending what water there was in the direction of the shower screen. The following morning I had multiple bed bug bites and having read other reviews I see that other occupants had experienced the same problem. Individually cooked breakfast is advertised but there was no one there to cook it and during my stay I did not see a single member of staff. If there had been an emergency such as a fire there was no one there to help.

    The hotel has an excellent location, it is a very short pleasant walk into the centre of Wimbledon town centre, the check in was seamless, my room was very nice and I must say the bed in room 3 was just fantastic, the mattress was very padded and just very comfortable - Jay the hotel owner is a very nice person

    We didn't get to go straight to the room so we had to wait rather long and after a long journey we could of done without that. The room was in need of some tlc and a good clean there was a dead bug on the wall and dust everywhere. The bed was comfy which was good. We booked this place for the new wimbledon theatre it wasn't far to walk it
