  Good stuff first. One helpful staff member found me some toothpaste as I had had a packing crisis. The gym is ok and empty, music a bit loud. The rest: lift needs keycard up or down which is a bit daft. No stairs were obvious. Rainforest shower far too big for the tiny shower. Rooms are minute, dark, and open plan. Sink near bed, loo/shower behind a sliding glass door. Air on noise is loud and continues constantly even when AC turned off. Wardrobe space is only half height so useless for coats dresses or suits. No tea or coffee in room. No kettle. This is worse than Mrs Bloggs guesthouse in Blackpool but her room is larger! Lots of check in staff loitering and apparently doing the shelf check in for you. Why not just have a reception. Breakfast mediocre with no cooked tomatoes, no eggs other than scrambled, no fruit salad only compare. Average juice and cereal and pastries covered ( in the now mandatory but pointless) icing sugar mixed with dust. But the biggest issue is the smallest one: the room. £250 for a mouse box? If you want a budget hotel there are much better options. PI Hub and Hamp Ton.   Just awful!

  The smallest room ever! With constant fan noise unable to switch off.   Centrally located along several convenient Bus routes a few nights at YOTEL London City are the most affordable way to visit. From the on-site Restaurant and 24/7 fitness center to simple check-in and check-out everything is as they promise. Sure rooms are small, but you're just here to rest your head so who cares?   The Yotel may be fine, but book at your own risk.

  In early September I diligently studied hotels in London. After ten days or so we decided to try the Yotel. Their published rate, which was consistent for at least a week, was competitive. Over a month later they canceled my reservation under the "clear error clause." Our reservation was just under $600 for four nights -- nothing included. They offered a new rate over $1,000. This threw us back into the market weeks after our original booking and has undoubtedly cost us over $100 as bookings get scarce. The Yotel may be fine, but book at your own risk.   Very comfortable overnight stay. Staff was friendly and helpful and our room was ready 2 hours before check in, which was a bonus. Room itself had everything we needed, although I’m not sure about the frosted glass for the toilet and shower. If we didn’t know each other well before, we do now lol. Black out blinds were so good we nearly missed breakfast! Breakfast was buffet style but tasty. Good location close to the tube. Not sure why all the negative reviews to be honest.
