  Room quite small, no room between bed and wall. Air conditioning may as well be non existent, we asked staff is that’s what it’s meant to be like and they said that’s what it is like in every room, then gave us a small, cracked fan which did not help much either. Furthermore staff didn’t seem too warm and welcoming, I felt that the service I received was somewhat dismissive. Even though it’s not a bad price it would expect service and the facilities in the room to be up to standard.

  No soundproofing, expect to hear everything

  I had a terrible stay at this hotel with zero resolution.I am used to staying in budget and basic hotels, however, if you expect to get a decent night sleep this is not the hotel for you.There is zero soundproofing, so expect to hear everything. We stayed for one night and didn't sleep at all due to our above neighbour screaming their head off and thrashing around the room from around 3am. We couldn't have been the only ones to hear the noise, however, this continued until we left first thing. In fact we could still hear them screaming as we walked down the corridor to reception.I've raised a dispute but all I've been offered is a discount if we return. We will not be returning and we certainly don't appreciate paying £100+ for zero sleep and feeling unsafe.

  Poor experience – not fit for a comfortable stay

  My partner and I paid £300 for a two-night stay, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience.We were first given a room with a strong chemical smell. When we raised this, we were told the hotel was fully booked and that the smell was “fine,” which didn’t inspire confidence. Only after reporting a broken toilet flush were we suddenly moved to another room.The second room wasn’t much better. The blinds didn’t block out light properly, making it hard to sleep. The bed was uncomfortable (both stiff and springy), and the pillows were extremely thin—only two provided for a double bed.We barely slept the first night and decided not to stay for the second night at all. For the price paid, this fell far below expectations.Overall, not a comfortable or restful stay, and I wouldn’t return.

  Good value and very clean

  Very clean and staff were great but the rooms are not soundproofed as is advertised on some sites. Was kept awake all night by neighbouring room. Traffic noise may bother some people too as in busy area. Late check out available for extra fee. Would recommend.

  I have just got back from a wonderful break at this hotel. The room was very clen & comfortable. All the staff that i met the reception to cleaners were very pleasant. The hotel is in a very good location for exploring Manchester ,with a good choice of restaurant's near by. When ever i come to Manchester this will be my first choice to stay,
