Good value hotel with comfortable bed

We arrived too early for check in but the staff were very accommodating and stored the bags . The room was comfortable ,clean and the shower was excellent . The bed was super comfortable with a choice of pillows ,although a motorway is nearby I heard no traffic noise at all . It’s a half hour walk along the canal to the town or a short £9 cab ride . The only disappointment was breakfast.I should say I’m not a great fan of buffet style anyway . There’s is cereal ,toast a fruit salad and a range of cooked food but no choice of eggs (scrambled ) the bacon ,sausage and tomatoes were tepid at best and had been standing for a while . It could be so much better than it is for not a lot of effort . But it’s a great budget hotel ,good value and I’d stay again . Wonderful Staff

We had a 3 night stay here, because of a family emergency, the staff were so welcoming . The room was clean and enough room for 2, bathroom a little tied but clean. The sockets next to the bed and usb ports were a happy find, and needed. The breakfast was excellent and set us both up for the day. We had one evening meal and it was hot and well cooked. The staff are fabulous nothing was to much trouble. Drainage problem

Always stay here when visiting family in Burnley, never have any complaints, staff as usual were fantastic, food was great, had a problem with the shower, drain was blocked and water wouldn’t drain, had to get hubby up and dressed to go down to reception and get a man with a plunger!…..surely the last ppl in the room must have said something or at very least housekeeping should have noticed, I was standing in ankle deep dirty water, really not happy about our visit this time, a big let down Burnley! Had we been previously notified I can assure you that this would have been addressed, there were no visible signs of blockage within the drainage plug. As a result we are currently working our way through all showers to ensure that this is an isolated experience.Regards

A really lovely stay. I stayed for 2 nights with my wife and 2 children who are 9 & 6. Arrived at midnight and the car park was only half full so plenty of spaces. Check in was smooth and we were in our room within 5 minutes. Room was comfortable for 4 of us with a double bed and sofa bed. Really comfortable beds, plenty of space despite the 4 of us and really clean. Hairdryer, kettle and plenty of towels in the room and a good quality shower. Breakfast was good, simple but does the job and satisfied adults and kids alike. Plenty of space in the restaurant and a nice area to relax in the morning. All in all just a really pleasant stay.
