Located approximately 2 miles from the City of Manchester Stadium, Sport City and Manchester Velodrome, the home of British Cycling, and a short taxi journey from Old Trafford Stadium, home of Manchester United Football Club, the hotel is an hour's drive by motorway from the English Lake District, the seaside coastal resorts of Blackpool and the city of Liverpool. Within Manchester city centre are major and small art galleries and museums, including the Tate North, the new Lowry at Salford Quays, the City Art Gallery, the Manchester Museum and the Museum of Science and Industry. The hotel is just 15 minutes away from the Manchester International Airport (around 20 km). Other airports include Liverpool John Lennon Airport (approximately 60 km) and Blackpool International Airport (roughly70 km).

Facility

97 rooms, including 63 double rooms, are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by a lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Rudest manager and overcharged

    I booked for a client for 1 night and put it on my card. At checkout she was also charged altho she explained she was not supposed to be. She was also charged $20 over the invoice they had mailed me. "Manager" was extremely rude and would do nothing about it. I contacted him twice. First time he said the charge would be taken off my card in a few days. I emailed while I was speaking to him the invoice he had sent me for $180 and he said it was wrong, the charge was $202 but he would look into it. I called back 2 days later, he was still rude and told me the price was $202 even thou my invoice said otherwise. I asked to speak to a manager and he told me he was the manager right now and he had customers to take care of and had no time for me. I reminded him I was a customer and he said I have customers standing right here and I was being very rude...click...he hung up on me.

    2 Night Family Stay

    My family and I had a lovely 2 night stayThis was our 3rd stay here.The location is perfect for attending the Man City Game as only less than 10 minutes in the car to the Etihad Stadium 30 min drive into Trafford Centre too.Parking is also a bonus.The rooms were clean and tidy with toiletries in the bathroom although we always bring our own. There is an Ironing board with iron which is handy if needed. Room was comfortable TV and kettle if want that wee cuppa with tea and coffee. Temperature in room great there is also a fan if the weather is hotter in summer.Had a great sleep beds were comfortable.Our stay included Free Breakfast in the morning with a selection of Hot food, cereals, pastries and fruit. Juices and Hot drinks too.The staff always go above and beyond So friendly and helpful.Spotlessly clean in reception area and nice to sit and unwind there is alcoholic beverages and soft drinks also available to buy.Security spot on with entry only by the key card.     VERY INSENSITIVE AND LACKING PUBLIC RELATIONS

    The Manchester East Holiday Inn was manifestly inconsiderate and insensitive. I booked my 18 years old in, who was in Manchester, while I as in London. He arrived at past 7 pm and the hotel refused to check him in because he had no physical ID card on him ( not withstanding he had virtual copies). The hotel threw him out on the street at night despite their being aware that he knows one in Manchester. He had just finished a modelling shoot late evening which made him want to spend the night to return to London in the morning. Absolutely no consideration for his age or safety.     Perfect hotel for a football weekend in Manchester

    Booked a room for me and my son for the night before a midday Man City Game. We arrived around 8 pm and with utter dismay I realised I booked the wrong date and I lost all the money as it was a non refundable rate . The two so ever professional , friendly, kind and helpful ladies at the reception supported me with a new booking for the night and offered a voucher for complimentary snacks and drinks as a kind gesture since they could not refund the wrong booking. Room was spacious, clean and silent. Bathroom was clean and spacious as well. Hot water was running very well. We had dinnner delivered at reception by Deliveroo with no problem whatsoever. Breakfast was included, good variety of food, English and continental with the all you can eat buffet formula. Staff during breakfast were e try helpful and polite.
