    Good location. Handy for shopping and not far from city centre. Clean rooms. Very helpful staff.     Highly recommend this hotel & we will be staying again, staff are so friendly and nothing is to much for them, nice cosy lounge/bar area, food was stunning and breakfast was very nice to, the rooms were immaculate and quite spacious, the hotel is only 20 minutes away from the Trafford shopping centre and stadium.     Last minute booking, good room, hot shower but room a bit chilly even on a high heat setting. Had a bar meal, chips n pizza. Probably worst pizza ever eaten.Booked in for breakfast and very good, apart from powdered scrambled egg, gross and oven cooked mushrooms, wasted. the niu Loom, Guest Services / Front Office at Holiday Inn - The Niu Loom Manchester North by IHG, responded to this review Sorry that you hated the pizza, they are a very well known brand name: Our eggs are not powdered and yes the mushrooms are oven cooked as is all out foods as nothing cooked in oil or boiled on the hot plate. We do have a great cold selection, cold meats, fresh fruit, fresh breads, fresh baked pastries, cereals, gluten section, nuts and seeds section, out breakfast offerts so much more than on the small limited hot we offer. Will we see you again?

    I Love staying at this hotel I have done a good few times now. The service by the staff as a whole is amazing very warm and welcoming.     Good hotel. Basic but was exactly what we needed. 5 of us in 3 separate rooms. Staff were friendly and professional. Rooms were clean and tidy. The drinks in the bar, whilst fairly priced, were a little off.
