    Manchester’s hidden gem

    Right in the centre of town this hotel is a hidden gem. Wonderful concierge and reception staff & welcomed a glass of fizz at check in. Room was clean, modern design with a lovely large shower. Roof bar with outdoor terraces was really special for a pre dinner cocktail. Breakfast was delicious, really attentive staff and even made a coffee to my specification.     Booked last-minute for a work trip. Best hotel I have used this year. Huge thanks to Diana, Abi and Spike for making me feel so welcome and for their excellent customer service. Rooftop bar very nice place to be, food was exquisite, room very comfortable and well appointed. Absolute bargain given the high level of luxury and service. V good central location, I parked 2 minutes away in an NCP. Zero noise and bohemian atmosphere. Highly recommended.     Afternoon tea at Reign

    Eunice served us and she was fantastic throughout the afternoon tea service.We really enjoyed the sandwiches and appreciated you can pick and choose what you prefer. Really liked scones with jam and cream I did feel the sweet options let the afternoon tea down. The Choux pastry was especially dry as if it was from the day before and not fresh on the day.     Not worth the hype

    Extremely disappointed would not stay again . Stayed for a special birthday and was extremely let down by staff. Someone had clearly also been in our room and left a receipt on the floor as evidence 🙄no turn down service as requested and no where near a 5* experience. Breakfast was good but left waiting for over half an hour. Should of got the train home and not bothered. Tried contacting to complain and no response. Staff at check in and out lovely but that was the only plus side.
