Good location with its own jet

  17 May 2026

Good location by Deansgate station, staff were friendly and the bar/restaurant seemed easy and accessible if you fancy paying an extra few quid to not venture out. Equally there are numerous restaurants, bars and shops all nearby. Sainsbury's local is about 30 seconds from front door. The room was an accessible room on the 9th floor with a jet wash for a shower that cleared off any filth you have ever had on your skin. Nice big bed, with a complimentary fridge with a couple of soft drinks. My only quibble would be the climate control only went down to 18C, so if you've got a bit of flabby insulation round yourself like I do, you might get a bit warm. Solid hotel, we'd stay again if we want to be in a good location slightly out the centre of Manchester. INNSiDE Manchester, Owner at Innside By Melia Manchester, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review! We’re really pleased to hear you enjoyed our location near Deansgate station and found the team friendly and welcoming. It’s great that you were able to make the most of both the nearby restaurants, bars and shops, as well as the convenience of the bar and restaurant on-site.We’re also glad the room worked well for your stay — especially the big bed, complimentary drinks fridge, and that powerful shower which certainly sounds like it made an impression! We appreciate your feedback regarding the climate control settings too. We understand everyone has their perfect sleeping temperature, and your comments are helpful for us to review. Thanks again for your kind words, and we’d be delighted to welcome you back next time you’re visiting Manchester,Kindest Regards,Ian - Front Office Supervisor

Check in error started our trip off disappointed

  04 May 2026

We arrived at 11.30am after booking an early check in on line from 10am only to be told that early check in wasn’t available and I shouldn’t have been able to book it on line, was a glitch!! Room therefore not available till 3pm. We planned the trip around having the day in Manchester, chill in room when we arrived early to unpack and head out for lunch then back to head out for Co-Op live for a concert. Disappointed they didn’t offer us the townhouse that was available straight away without saying that’ll be an extra charge. Should have complementary or reduced even due to their error, but weren’t able to offer it. Refunded our early check in but nothing else offered and didn’t show much concern. We had to get changed in toilets but clothes for the concert were all creased as stuck in luggage room 4hrs till we could access our room. Room thankfully was nice when we finally got in it on floor 9 with a nice view of beer kegs and rubbish lol. First room had a bath and open bathroom rather than a private shower so they were able to move us. Travelling with my daughter this was preferred and as picture showed. Breakfast was great so that was a bonus. Lots of choice and good quality and lovely staff. Just be aware of their glitches with their on line booking and ring on day about early check in as they said it’s not guaranteed! INNSiDE Manchester, Owner at Innside By Melia Manchester, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I’m really sorry to hear about the issues you encountered with the early check-in. I completely understand how frustrating this must have been, especially when you had planned your day around arriving early to relax and get ready. Please accept our sincere apologies for the confusion caused by the online booking glitch. This is certainly not the experience we want for our guests, and your feedback highlights where we need to improve both our systems and how we handle situations like this at the hotel. I also regret that we didn’t offer a more flexible or accommodating solution at the time, and that this added stress to your visit.I’m glad to hear that once you were settled, you found the room comfortable and that our team was able to move you to a setup better suited to your needs. It’s also great to know you enjoyed the breakfast and found the staff there to be welcoming—that’s lovely to hear and I’ll be sure to pass that on.Your comments are really valuable, and we’ll be reviewing both our booking process and how we support guests when things don’t go as planned. We truly appreciate your patience and hope we might have the chance to provide you with a much smoother and more enjoyable stay in the future.Kindest Regards,Ian - Front Office Supervisor
