    Noisy and uncomfortable.

    rating13 Jun 2026

The noise of lorries, trams and even people comes in through the window as if it were wide open. Not helped by the fact that sound outside echoes and reverberates. Very difficult to sleep. This is compounded by the incredibly hard and cheap mattress. Side sleepers definitely avoid!

A Truly Superb Hotel That Gets Everything Right

    rating11 Jun 2026

A superb hotel in every respect! The hotel is in a perfect location, just five minutes walk from Piccadilly Station. It is near local shops, bars, cafes and restaurants but doesn't suffer much from outside noise. It's very central so you can usually get an Uber within 2-3 minutes. All the members of staff I met were polite, welcoming, efficient, helpful and friendly. The check-in process was short and simple. I asked for a very quiet room and the receptionist made every effort to make sure I got one. The hotel has a nice dining and bar area that's spacious and comfortable, open until 11pm. They also have a small shop selling toiletries and snacks, including ice-cream and alcohol, from which you can buy items 24 hours a day.The elevators were fast and responsive. My room was spacious and meticulously clean. They provide tea, coffee and light refreshments, colour TV, an iron and ironing board, a suitcase stand and adequate closet space with neat wooden hangars. There's plenty to like and enjoy about this excellent hotel where high standards are the norm. Clean, quiet, welcoming, friendly, a perfect location... it's hard to imagine anything better. I would be happy to stay there again.

Expensive and not value for money

    rating30 May 2026

In the perfect location for what we needed, but that's all that is good about this. The staff member who checked us in was rude, abrupt and pulled nasty faces and rolled her eyes at customers like she didnt want to be there. The room was a decent size for what we needed but for £169 for a small double for one night is extortionate. There's marks all over the walls, stains on the curtains and white splashes all over the doors. The walls are thin and you can hear everything in the rooms next door. The bed is hard and uncomfortable, with a dip in the middle, you get one pillow (standard in most hotels) but no spares in the wardrobe and the pillows we had were flat, uneven and extremely uncomfortable and we couldn't get an extra which likely would be due to stock availability etc.Back to the price of £169 for one night, this did not include breakfast, which was an extra £12.95 per person for buffet breakfast, check in was from 3pm and check out at 11am. We asked about late checkout on arrival (we are taking part in the AJ Bell Half Marathon), and the staff member told us it was an extra £10 an hour on top of what we had already paid.I'm sorry but I won't be staying here again.

Do not book - hotel refused to provide an invoice!!

    rating24 May 2026

Booked off work. Requested an invoice which I was told would be issued on check out. Have been arguing with them for almost a month now and they are refusing to issue it...no idea why, as no explanation given just the same useless information telling me to be rest assured they are looking into it

Looks nice in reception. But it's not

    rating16 May 2026

Looks Instagram ready in reception. Lovely and cool and modern. That's where it ends. Rooms horrible and tiny. Carpets filthy. This is not a modernised hotel as it likes to make out. A nice bit of funky writing on a wall doesn't make it modern. The rooms are old, in need of an update and tiny. The windows had loads and loads of black tape around them. I have honestly stayed in nicer for 30 quid in Blackpool. 150 quid this room cost. Never again. What a dump
