    Knocked down / demolished

    rating20 May 2025

This hotel and its associated car park are entirely closed, and the building has been knocked down / demolished. I assume something will be put in its place but I think its unlikely to be a hotel, more likely to be an "event" type venue which are growing in popularity on this site.

Stayed at Premier Inn Trafford Centre on the 18th Oct to 20th, 2 nights Premier Plus roomParking was good after a 3.1/2 hour drive, upon entering g the hotel you a greeted to a lively lounge area that was very busy, checked in electronically once I found the machines but access poor as 4 large table and chairs full of guest where located in front of the check in area, allocated room 228 one of the lifts was down and the other seemed to have a mind of its own. Arrived in the room but not sure what the plus was for as seemed a standard room, only mint? and Earl Grey tea bags on offer I forgot the golden rule bring your own teabags and milk. Went to the newly refurbished restraunt for drinks and food and was fortunate to be served by Kane who looked after us royally and is a credit to your organisation. Breakfast next morning was a bit of a disaster as bacon, sausages hash browns bread for toast fresh fruit and compote were missing from the buffet they got replenished eventually but the bacon was not cooked properly and the sausages were of low quality my wife just had the toast. Drinks and food were enjoyed on the Saturday night whom it was my good fortune to be served by Kane again who was as friendly and accommodating as he was the evening before, he even bought me a complimentary pint as an apology for our breakfast woes, thanks again Kane you made our stay really enjoyable. Breakfast on Sunday was better than the previous day with no complaints at all. In summary we thought at £440.00 for the two nights including breakfast was on the high side for the room but I suppose its supply and demand especially as Man Utd were playing at home. One small point, the stairs are grim and need upgrading/decorating

    CLOSED

    rating26 Jul 2023

it is closed permanently - what a terrible shame.I hope another hotel chain takes it over - we will book in for sure. It is perfectly placed within Trafford Centre grounds for people shopping over a few days. I know there is another one close by but if you are more mature and have osteoarthritis of both knees - 'close by' isn't that great. What a pity Premier Inn decided to close this one!

    Closed down.

Just been past in the car the entrance is blocked off and signage as been take down. I believe it is going to be more car park for the Trafford centre. My mrs is disabled and it is close to the centre and she could make it in. About 10 of us stayed 2 nights ever December just before Christmas. We wont be staying at the other 2 premier inns as my mrs wouldn't make it. So sadly ends are about 15 year tradition. So sorry it's gone.
