    Lovely food service experience

    rating13 Apr 2026

I stay here regularly, and one of the main reasons I keep coming back is the consistency of the evening staff. They are always friendly, welcoming, and professional, which makes a noticeable difference after a long day. Every member of the team I have interacted with has been genuinely pleasant, and one in particular stands out for always going the extra mile and making the experience more enjoyable (promised I wouldn't name them). The atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed and inviting, and the service is consistently good. The schnitzel is also very good, well prepared and something I would happily recommend. Overall, it is a reliable and enjoyable place to eat, made even better by the quality of the staff. Gavin Webster, Owner at Holiday Inn Oxford by IHG, responded to this review Thank you for your lovely review and extremly happy to hear you are well looked after by the team. We appreciate your kind words and always look forward to welcoming you back. Best Wishes Gavin.
