Great Value Stay with Convenient Location
14 Apr 2026
I had an excellent stay at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of options to choose from, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The location is convenient - you can easily reach Oxford town centre in about 10 minutes by Uber. One small downside was the pool area. It’s quite small and can get busy, and access to the sauna, steam room, and pool is limited to 30-minute slots, which felt a bit restrictive. On the plus side, there is ample parking available at £8 per night, which is very reasonable.Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely visit again. Customer Experience team , Other at Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford, responded to this review Good morning Ishanka S,Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are delighted to hear that you had an excellent stay and appreciated our convenient location, varied breakfast offering, and the friendly service provided by our team. It is also great to know that you found the parking to be good value and convenient. We sincerely appreciate your comments regarding the pool area and the time limitations in place. We understand how this may have felt restrictive, and your feedback is valuable as we continuously review our facilities and guest experience. We are very pleased that, overall, you had a great stay and we look forward to welcoming you back again in the future.Kind Regards,AnisaCustomer Relations Executive

Expect a parking fine of £100.

Stayed one night, strong smell of disinfectant throughout the hotel. Nothing said on arrival about parking, and received a £100 parking fine a month later. No signage in the car park visible in the dark. This is appalling service.

Disappointing If I’m honest
31 Mar 2026
Initial impressions were good, the exterior of the hotel was nice and the check inn process was efficient and friendly. However the room was dated and in need of repair. The carpet had stains everywhere and parts of the bathroom were rusty. There was also a prom on the evening we stayed and the hotel was very very noisy. Did not enjoy the peaceful night we were hoping for and did not feel like valued clientele. Customer Experience team , Other at Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford, responded to this review Good morning Neilaa,Thank you for your feedback and for recognising the positive aspects of your experience. However, it is regrettable that the condition of the room and the noise from the event detracted from your stay. Please accept our sincere apologies for the maintenance and cleanliness concerns, as well as the disruption to your comfort, which does not reflect the standards expected. Your comments have been noted and will be addressed with the team to ensure better guest experience in the future. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back.Kind Regards,AnisaCustomer Relations Executive
