  I had such a gorgeous time at the spa. It was wonderful to use the thermal facilities and then have a very indulging serenity massage with Kamila. The new relaxation room and snacks are also a good addition. My whole experience was divine.

  Train your staff in customer service

  We stayed for 3 nights bed and breakfast. The hotel building style and layout was lovely and being so central was perfect. However it is not a 5 star hotel and in many respects hardly a 4 star. We paid c£600 per night which was ok. However the staff need some serious customer service training in the restaurant, front desk and bar. Many not all staff were happy to ignore us, not say goodbye as we walked past the desk in the restaurant, leave the bar unattended as 3 bar staff all disappeared at the same time. Surely it’s all about the customer service experience. Also in the self serve breakfast room fish, meat and cheese were left out in the hot sun which is not safe to do and guests were handling items and putting them back. Restaurant staff should have been overseeing it. Overall a great place but train your staff or at least make them seem happier as many looked disinterested and fed up with the exception of all of the housekeeping team who were very friendly, happy and hardworking

  I stopped by for the day with my family, the valet service was amazing in the middle of the city travelling in with my elderly parents was made a lot easier with Harry’s help he was extremely accommodating and very helpful, providing 5* service which the whole family really appreciated. Thankyou Harry :)

  A beautiful abs historic hotel with kind staff. This was my second stay and I’d be glad to return.
