    Weekend stay in VOCO Oxford.

    Had a great quiet weekend thanks to VOCO helpful no panic staff, clean noise-free rooms and the restaurant mgr Isabella was a star, quick and service and food was better than I expected. Would definitely stay here again on next visit to Oxford.

    Very warm, caring and friendly staff. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable.This was the first VOCO that we had stayed in and now love this brand!Particular shout out to Claire Satterthwaite, Guest Services Manager, when I had misplaced my rental car key, she was ready to spring into action and help me find it…. and followed up. It turned out that I left it in an Uber, which was returned to me promptly.Parking on the premises was very easy and I received instructions from Front Desk on how to park the closest to where my room was located in the building. It is 25 GBP per 24 hr period and it is billable to the room which made things very convenient.Although this hotel is a 20 minute walk to the center of Oxford, I would not hesitate to stay here again for the overall experience, which was absolutely wonderful.

    The hotels really exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and the housekeeping service is exceptional. My room was cleaned every day, the gym is really well equipped for a hotel, the pool is really pleasant and clean.Special shout-out to Max (restaurant)and Claire the PR manager, she was exceptional.     Enjoyable stay at Voco Oxford Spires. Great location within walking distance into city centre along the river.Enjoyed a lovely meal in Deacons and relaxing in the courtyard garden.     I seldom write reviews but in this case I was totally bowled over by the exemplary service I received from the team at voco Hotel - they went above and beyond.I arrived late & frazzled with no reservation on a busy Friday night ( after 21.00 ) after a shambles with another booking provider that let us down last minute - the front desk team of Lily and Matham swung into action and secured us an inter-leading room, an additional fridge to store our bought food we expected to use at the other booking, and a hot meal as last order had just gone into the restaurant.I was so relieved as I had 2 exhausted kids with me. The "cherry on the cake" was that the steak was delicious, the room luxurious, and spotless and I received a follow up call from Lily to ensure we were all taken care of. We slept incredibly well and immediately called to extend our stay & enjoy all that Oxford has to offer.Lily and Matham you are a credit to your hotel and I so appreciate your kindness, professionalism and genuine hospitality - we will be back !
