    Everything perfect

    rating06 Jun 2026

Fantastic hotel for a short weekend break and a quick bus ride to Reading town centre. Staff were professional, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was outstanding with so much choice and everything really fresh. Beds were comfortable and pillows were like marshmallows. Everything was spotless. Cleanliness to a very high standard. Definitely would stay again

The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the quality of food was excellent. The location is convenient, with easy access to Reading town centre and major transport links. The fitness and leisure facilities were also well-equipped and maintained.Overall, Hilton Reading provides great comfort, excellent service, and good value for money. Great stay

    rating26 May 2026

We stayed at Hilton reading with friends and also had dinner at the hotel. Only best comments! We were checked in by Jana, and I must say, she has been amazing. From the moment we arrived until we left. Always greeted with a smile and kind, positive attitude. It happen to be one of the busiest Saturday evenings in the restaurant, however service was good and food was great. We very much enjoyed our stay as well as our friends. Would definitely return to this hotel when in the area. Thank you. ZAIN GILL, Guest Services / Front Office at Hilton Reading, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for your lovely review. Great hotel but Oxbo needs sorting

    rating23 May 2026

Great hotel. Onsite parking is £5 for diamond members but we actually managed to park out the front for free. If you’re a diamond member there in NO lounge and no extra perk at check in (we often get a couple of complimentary drinks at venues without a lounge). Gym access is 24 hours for guests and pool is 7am - 20:30. We didn’t dine at Oxbo in the evening because they had a reduced menu and no ‘snack’ options. In the morning, we had breakfast. It was pretty chaotic. We were sat in the very low chairs by the main bar area which are not appropriate for dining, in my view. Great selection of pastries, hot food and drinks but the set up is a bit small meaning everyone is congested in a small area. I also had to wait 20 minutes for breakfast. The other disappointing element was that three of the four drink stations had paper cups only. It was a disappointing end to an otherwise pleasant stay. Jana Gajdoscakova, Guest Services / Front Office at Hilton Reading, responded to this review Dear leonw833,Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback following your recent stay at Hilton Reading. We are pleased to hear that overall you had a pleasant stay and enjoyed several aspects of the hotel, including our 24-hour gym access and leisure facilities. We also appreciate your comments regarding parking and are glad you were able to find convenient parking during your visit.Thank you as well for your feedback regarding Hilton Honors Diamond benefits. While our hotel does not currently offer an Executive Lounge, we truly value the loyalty of our Hilton Honors members and appreciate your comments regarding additional recognition at check-in. Feedback such as yours is extremely valuable as we continuously review the overall guest experience we provide.I am sorry to learn that your breakfast experience did not fully meet expectations. Please accept our apologies for the busy and congested breakfast setup during your visit, as well as the delay in being seated. I also understand your comments regarding the seating arrangement in the bar area and appreciate your honest feedback concerning comfort and suitability for dining.Additionally, I am sorry for the inconvenience caused by the limited availability of ceramic cups at the beverage stations. While paper cups may occasionally be used during peak operational periods, I appreciate that this impacted the overall experience and did not leave the best final impression.Your comments regarding the reduced evening menu have also been noted and shared with our Food & Beverage team for review.Thank you once again for your balanced and constructive feedback. We genuinely appreciate you highlighting both the positive aspects of your stay as well as the areas where improvements can be made.We do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again in the future for an even better experience.Kind regards,JanaFront Office Manager
