    Charged Twice and Impossible to Contact

    I would definitely stay away from this hotel.Me and my lads work night shifts, so I purposely paid for the room the night before our arrival to make sure we could check in early in the morning and go straight to sleep after work. Before arriving, I tried contacting the hotel multiple times—morning, afternoon, and night—to explain our situation, but nobody ever answered.Despite the room already being paid for, the hotel took money from my account without my knowledge and marked the booking as a “no-show.” They then went on to charge me again for another full stay, again without my knowledge or permission.I’ve stayed in hotels on a weekly basis for years, and this has never happened to me before. If a room has already been paid for, there should be no reason to charge a guest twice for the same room and the same stay.Poor communication, impossible to contact, and unacceptable billing practices. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.I would give it zero stars if I could.

    Stayed here for one night.Very warm welcome on arrival. Receptionist also helped with offering to book taxis and the 25 % off meal deal vouchers we could use at the near by service station which came in very handy. Our twin room was on the ground floor, the bedroom part was clean and I slept very well.The sheets and duvet fine and I like the mattress. Hairdryer, TV, kettle with some sachets provided.Plenty of towels also available.The bathroom is knackered, sloppy grouting between tiles and there was a smell of urine. The bathroom doesn’t have a window and the fan was pretty pathetic. Hand wash and shower gel provided which smelt fine.Hot water available and plenty of loo roll.For the price we paid and only staying one night it served the purpose we required.     Stayed here for last Thursday into Friday and this Thursday into Friday and both times had no hot water not even warning or reason....stayed here due to a training course so was just somewhere to stay but too have to use a kettle just to have a wash is not on.
