Staff on reception were efficient. Rooms were spotless and modern. Tea and coffee facilities available in rooms as well as bathroom basics (hand soap, shampoo, shower gel, etc). Within 20 minutes to the port and great value with cruise package. Luggage storage also available.

We loved this hotel, nice reception, clean and tidy rooms. Staff were great made so much better by Joseph and harley and their amazing cocktails!! Will return just to see them again!!!

Had a great stay at the DoubleTree Southampton! The staff were warm and welcoming, the room was comfortable and clean, and the peaceful surroundings made for a very restful stay. Would definitely stay here again

Awful place who dont care about there guests

If I could leave a zero I would.Well they staff were unhelpful management unhelpful and blantly lie.Promise to email to discuss our frustrations.. 1 week later still no email.On checkin the take for the rooms again £400 including 2 lots of £50 holding fee. When challenged about the double charge we waited one hour and no body even came back to us while we waited in reception.We then had to chase again and was told both cards would be refund for there mistake. Only one was.Asked again why rather second card wasn't refund to be told it can take upto 48hrs. That's a lie as you didnt process the refund.We got the money back after we check out. No concerns were given that they took our budget for our 2 days away with our 3 children for one of there birthdays. Absolutely disgusting and to continue to lie is terrible.One room not even ready and we arrived 1.5 hrs after we were told we could check in.When we checked out and the money was credit back to the card they attitude was it back so what the problem.We requested to speak to the manager but surprisingly there in a meeting but we guarantee they will email you. Another lie.Stay anywhere else but here as they dont care about there guests and if there lips move dont believe a word they say.
