    Not bad hotel ..eady find off the motorway ..look for the cricket stadium !Parking is charged for 7£ a night .. pay at the machine Rooms v good clean and well appointed ..Evening fayre is limited and expensive for what you get .. drinks are " Southern" prices so expect around £6.50 a pint .. Saving grace morning breakfast very good ,plentiful and lots of variety for all dietry reqs .. overal a good relaxing stay .     Stayed here last night as we're flying from Southampton airport today which is 15 minutes drive away. Wasn't looking forward to it in this heat as usually air con in hotels can be poor but thankfully it was lovely and cool so we had a nice sleep until 1am, the Aircon started making a loud hissing noise which woke us up but we turned it down and it was fine. Bed was comfortable. Shower was okay. Breakfast was fine but packed but it is the school holidays so it was to be expected. We parked right outside the hotel with no problems, but there are reviews where people have struggled to park. Parking is £7.00 for 24 hours. Would stay here again if flying from Southampton. Also the staff are really nice.     Only 20 minutes from Poultons Park, very convenient location. Very friendly staff, good and rich breakfast. Left a lovely birthday surprise for the birthday man.     We spent 2 nights at the hotel and thought that it had improved from our last visit. We had a lovely room upstairs overlooking the car park.The staff were all very pleasant and we enjoyed a very good breakfast each morning. The bus into Southampton stops just outside the hotel which was great.     My stay went very well! The staff were all very friendly and polite, in particular Rachel on reception who helped us organise our taxis to the cruise ships and explained everything very clearly. The room was quite comfortable, however the carpet could do with updating and the breakfast in the morning was good. Would definitely recommend, and the price is very reasonable.
