    Refused a room I paid for.

    I booked a room for my homeless, autistic brother. He was sectioned so I tried to change the name to mine but accidentally pressed cancel. I tried contact them (it took ages) and explain the situation and as I had paid in full could I use the room. They refused and told me they were going to keep the money. Avoid.     I arrived at this hotel at almost midnight having missed my Dublin flight and consequently my ferry to the Isle of Wight. I was greeted by charming Nirdesh who despite the late hour checked me in with ease and offered me a late check-out the following day which was very welcome. He gave me a quiet room and organised a very speedy room service, which was just what I needed! I slept soundly until 11am. Thank you so much Nirdesh, you have restored my faith in humanity!     I had a wonderful stay at this hotel from start to finish. The staff were warm, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout my visit, and the room was spotless and comfortable.What really stood out, though, was their exceptional customer service after I checked out. I accidentally left some clothes behind, and the team not only found them quickly but went out of their way to carefully package and send them back to my home. They kept me updated throughout the process and made something stressful completely hassle-free.It’s rare to find a hotel that genuinely cares about its guests even after they’ve left.     Royal experience at the Leonardo Royal

    Another lovely stay . Efficient and quick check in . Room allocated . One with an adjoining door which I dislike so rtn to reception . Not a problem and given a lovely room at the front of the hotel with a view and small balcony . A bit dated but a sense of old world charm and luxurious with huge bed , wood panelling, White company toiletries , robes , Nespresso machine , bottled water etc .Lovely quiet nights sleep. As a solo traveller felt safe and secure . Swim in the morning in the hotel pool followed by a pleasant breakfast in their restaurant . Not crowded or rushed and a lovely start to the day .
