    Great Hotel if you are off on a cruise, and certainly better since it have the VOCO makeover.. We did Park there which we won’t do in the future as there are cheaper alternatives. Food was OK but not up to the standards we are used to in other Voco’s. I stayed here on points so VFM was not really a problem. However, if I were to pay then I do not feel the cost reflects the Hotel so it is a Little too expensive. I would stay again if I had to but would look for other Hotels first, this is down to price only.     Just having coffee and cakes before the boat show and cannot recommend it more highly. The staff are very helpful and friendly but an extra special mention must be made to Simmi who went above and beyond to make our experience a special one. She is an asset to your company.     Number one choice when visiting Southampton

    We stayed in this hotel the night prior to our cruise on the Disney Dream.This hotel is the perfect location only a few minutes drive from the port. We had 3 rooms close together as no interconnecting rooms available but it worked well, we were on a high floor with 2 rooms overlooking the port which were great to keep the children occupied and one room overlooking the town but still with views to be able to watch the ships leaving and coming into port.Rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped, all 3 rooms had king size beds. Tea/coffee making facilities, bottled water with 2 glasses plus a steamer for clothes.Bathrooms included toiletries, towels and a shower. Cleanliness in our bathroom required a little more attention to detail around the washbasin overflow and grouting in the bathroom shower.Only 2 lifts ?? n the hotel and they do get very busy so you will need to be patient and allow plenty of time especially when checking out (they are quite small)Public areas are ok we did not use the restaurant on this occasion.Staff that we came into contact with were all friendly and welcoming.Not a huge car park but it wraps around 3 sides of the hotel and you pay extra to park your car.For convenience this hotel will always be our first choice when staying in Southampton.
