Had a couple of nights away with our son.Absolutely phenomenal. Such a beautiful place. 2 bedroom apartment, on two levels was the size of my house! Everything there that you need, rooms huge, downstairs has a high ceiling and seems enormous.Only non plus points are creaky floorboards, but it's an old mansion and to be expected, and the speed bumps coming in are bloody hugeSwimming, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi was lovely. On a walk past the lodges we saw there's tennis and basketball courts and play stuff for the kids. And a small golf course The house is beautiful, the staff were extremely friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay

A great improvement and a good place to stay

After vowing never to return after our last experience there - we did give it another chance . What a difference ! The restaurant and bar is now open and serving excellent meals - the jacuzzi has been repaired and is operational though the pool was still a little cool and the spa is operating normal hours rather than just when staff were available . The grounds were tidier and the whole place once more looked cared for . Above all the accommodation was lovely- a two bedroomed cottage with en suite in the master bedroom and close to both the spa and restaurant. I’d still say avoid the chalets unless you really are wheelchair bound as they have become very dated - but the rest of the accommodation is good . Once more it has become a great place for a break with good staff and decent facilities . I think it was fair to complain when it all went severely down hill - but it’s also fair to give them the praise they deserve when things have improved to the extent they have now - would now recommend

Fantastic break, lovely spacious 2 bedroom apartment. Massive sofa bed of excellent quality. More than enough space for a family of 5.Facilities were excellent, kids loved the mini golf and table tennis. Lovely tennis court and multi sports court. Large warm swimming pool, with a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room for over 16's.Staff were really friendly and helpful, the apartment was spotlessly clean.Beautiful surroundings, we will definitely stay here again. Countryside retreat

Had my first visit here and what a lovely peaceful rural location. Stayed in an apartment which was well equipped and clean. A pleasant no hassle weekend away

First time at Wychinor Country Club We had travelled as a family to enjoy a week end break and had a lovely time Accommodation was a self contained cottage very nicely appointed in the former walled garden very quaint situated in the stunning Staffordshire countryside We had use of the heated pool and sauna and dining room which was of a very high standard All staff members we met were friendly very pleasant and extremely helpful contrary to some less than complimentary reviews I had read and I would have no hesitation in returning and would highly recommend to others Wychnor, at Wychnor Park Country Club, responded to this review Dear PaulThank you so much for your wonderful review.
