Fab Team!
31 Mar 2026
I stayed at the Double Tree Hilton Swindon from January to April whilst on placement at the hospital. The team are fantastic and always accommodating. Valerie in bookings made sure I was able to plan my stays for the dates I needed and Clavin and Sophie on reception were always keen to make sure I had a good stay. I felt like this hotel and the team were my second home and I would definitely recommend it. The location was perfect for my placement and for travelling back to Wales.. Clavin saved the day.
22 Mar 2026
What started out as a problem was quickly solved by the amazing Clavin. This man was first class, friendly, polite and I couldn’t fault him throughout our evening. He made me smile every time I walked past on what started out a little stressful. He was totally my hero. Soulless
19 Mar 2026
I recently stayed for a couple of nights. The hotel "does the job" if you need somewhere convenient for a stopover — clean enough, functional, and everything works as expected. That said, it’s pretty soulless. The whole place feels like it’s running on autopilot. The staff all do what they’re supposed to, but there’s a noticeable lack of warmth — no smiles, no sense of pride in the place, just going through the motions. Also disappointing was the complete lack of recognition for Diamond members — no upgrades, no extras, nothing to make you feel valued. The hotel is fine for a quick overnight when location matters more than experience, but not somewhere you’d go out of your way to stay. Front Office, Guest Services / Front Office at DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent stay. We’re pleased to hear that you found the hotel clean, functional, and convenient for your stopover. However, we’re truly sorry that your overall experience felt lacking in warmth and personality, and that our service did not leave you feeling valued. This is certainly not the impression we aim to create, and your comments will be shared with the team to help us improve the level of engagement and hospitality we provide.Regarding your Diamond membership, please allow me to clarify that upgrades are always offered where possible; however, they are subject to availability at the time of arrival. We regret that on this occasion we were unable to provide an upgrade or additional recognition, and we understand how important this is to our valued guests.Thank you again for your honest feedback. We do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide a more memorable experience.Kind RegardsFrancyla Da Costa Front Office Supervisor
