Loved Loved LOVED our stay!! 5* service from checking in, to the restaurant, to the use of the spa - which is by far the best / most relaxing spa I have ever been too!!

Spa visit overnight stay for 6

    rating10 Apr 2026

The moment you walk in everyone seems genuinely happy to see you. Loads of cakes, face masks, drinks, tiffen all day as well as the amazing hot tubs, saunas and infinity pools! Loved every second. Then onto the wood fired afternoon tea! Delicious 😋 room was a good size and morning breakfast had good choices too.

Luxury spa day with excellent facilities and lovely service

    rating10 Apr 2026

Went with my partner after receiving the Rise and Dine spa day as a birthday gift however we have done several other spa days as we only live 45 minutes away. It's by far the best spa in the area. Luxury facilities with amazing service. We didn't stay over this time but have done in the past. Highly recommend.

Lovely hotel but a bit tired/dingy in places. Fab spa but take your own flip flops!

    rating09 Apr 2026

Overall, a very pleasant stay. The spa is lovely - just remember to take your own flip flops otherwise it’s a £5 charge to buy some. No slippers are offered with your room, just robes. I feel a spa tour should be actively offered to everyone who hasn’t been before rather than you having to ask for one as the spa is vast with lots of different areas accessible by wristband. My husband didn’t ask for a tour (we had to go in separately as we have a small baby) and he didn’t realise his wristband gave him access to all the areas so he only got to experience one indoor pool and the outside area, completely missing the other indoor pool, thermal showers/saunas and relaxation spaces which was a bit gutting. There is a secondary relaxation space accessible from the upper decking across as glass walkway - it would help if that was clearly signposted as it looks like an exclusive bit that you don’t know if you can enter. My advice - try to access every space even if you don’t think you can so you don’t miss out!The restaurants are superb and the food was delicious - for me, those spaces were 5 star level. There are parts of the public lounges which are new and contemporary but other parts feel dated and quite worn, some armchairs could do with a good clean or re-upholstering. Again, the staff are fantastic and very helpful and I couldn’t fault their service. The corridors to the bedrooms are a little dingy and could do with brightening up or just some more effective lighting. Our bedroom was nice but not in keeping with the rest of the hotel standard in my opinion (bathrooms much better than bedrooms) - beds are 2x singles pushed together, and not particularly soft and the soft furnishings could do with an upgrade/clean in general. Lovely gingerbread and popcorn treats though!I think I would return for the spa access and restaurants again but probably not to stay.
